I have no idea whether it is still armed or not TBH. I usually re-do mine when it does it just to be sure. U could always open door with key and see if it goes off if you aint sure...
they will either chop the connector and solder the wires or just tape it all up lol. u can just pout up with it when it comes on jiggle the wires underneath the seat lol
But would there be anything to connect them too?!
The ECU thing I can understand. I just can understand WHY he wants to do it. adding all that weight, having safety features he cant use etc. madness.
Why didnt u just get a 172 mate lol!
IIRC the Cup ha LESS airbags than 172. So ur gonna be having problems mate. The 172 seats will have airbags in them, not sure if the Cup ones do. So its all looking a bit complicated TBH. ECU and wiring and all that stuff!
Might be wrong tho.
I found that if I act more arrogant than them they serve me better.
Kinda like walk in and "Hello, would you like to sell me a V6 Clio today?".
They fall at ya feet mate.
All u people phoning up and asking. Of COURSE theyll charge more. I aint being funny but at the end of the day if u smash it, im sure they wont be refusing to pay out on a factory fitted option issue. They wouldnt even botherthinking about it.
And I quote Evo:
"bespoke Michelin Exalto 2 tyreswith stiffer sidewalls, a 3mm lower ride height and stiffer springs and dampers than even those fitted to the 172 Cup. At just £200 youd be crazy not to tick the box on the options list."
They dont charge me for Supaguard mate. Depends how hard a bargain you drive.
You cant actually compare the 2. Supaguard is pure profits for them as it only costs them £45 + Valeters time.
1) Power lead probably fine to be honest, tho u should probably get a rubber washer/grommet as the metal can shear the power line. As long as there is no exposed wiring I cant see it being a problem.
2) As far as the spare is concerned if it is in the car it should be roadworthy and the right...
