1) You have a Cup. ICE defeats the object! Head Unit is obviously needed. You neednt spend over £200 really so thats ok. Yes do replace the components. Amp them. No do NOT fit 6x9s. THEY ARE NOT NEEDED ARE NOT GOOD. So IMHO I would say either buy the H/U and components and a 2 way amp...

The cap requires a screw tool which they supply, you get one locking wheel nut per corner. Pretty safe IMHO.

Just been to about 5 Tescos which all were on en route somewhere else. They ranged from £4.29 - £5.99 but managed to blag a 50p one. Also saw labels for Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo and Super Resin Polish for 50p but needless to say they had sold out of them all!

I gave up on conventional Chamois as they are IMHO crap. I now have a synthetic one. And its a MILLION times better in my experience. Plus I put it in the washing machine (well my old dear does for me!) and it comes out a treat. Never lets me down.

No dont bother doing that! Just use the new tweeter in that spot. The way I did it was to replace the H/U, then run RCAs to the amp. The speaker wire then runs up from the amp and to the crossover. THEN it cuts into the OE wire to the door and to the tweet spot.

Just seen so many posts about cars getting keyed and vandalised and lets be honest the weather doesnt do the car much good anyway. I have a drive and would still consider it (its not the longest drive in the world, just about fits my Clio on with a foot gap between the bonnet and the street)...
