Darkness - Dunno the name of the song but its the one that goes "My momma wants to know where im spending all my dough honey all she does is nag nag nag, but I wont apologise Id inject into my eyes if there was no...
Thats the number I rang.
Flux gave me a renewal notice of £798. I phoned them up and it turned out Im insured for mods I havent done yet and probably wont bother with now so I took those off and they said ok now its £735.
So I called Phil and he said £624.
Called back Flux and they said...
Cant recommend Phil enough at HIC. Loved beating Flux and was straight to the point. Fastest quote Ive ever had. And cheapest so far.
Now seeing if Flux fancy beating him - then Ill phone him back and Im sure well work something out! ;)
It can be done but is hard and easy to bugger it. Basically mate take the dash out is THE best way. And if your amping your components choping into the OE wiring is the best way as sorting out the wires in the door plug is an absolute b**ch.
Look at the pics I posted. Dash removal can be fun!
Easiest to remove the dash. See the article on the main site if you are a member for a guide though it is quite easy.
Other than that you can twist and remove the tweeter grills on the dash but its a little difficult. Also the tweeters are actually quite small (my new Rocky ones didnt fit in...
I love feeling it kick in and pulsing on my braking foot. Then I think that I could do it better myself! Probably just imagining the pulsing tough, just the shuddering!
My mate has a ZR160 and its fast enough for him. Best thing about it is that he points it where he wants it to go and it does. Even at pretty stupid speeds. The head turning it produces in the street is nice too! Trophy blue too common now but theres a nice anthracite/black colour about...
Third time of writing this - damn post limiter.
My local dealer has a demo Silver Cup coming back in a couple of weeks after a salesman leaves his position.
He reckons its got 5k on it but thats gonna be a very hard driven 5k IMHO.
Personally Id rather buy from an enthusiast who has looked...
Basically cos my local dealer has a demo Cup coming back in after one of the saleman leaves his job there.
Reckons its done 5k but thats likely to be a very very hard driven 5k. I said this to the sales guy and he was like "your buying a cup its a sports car they are all gonna be hammered"...
buying a nearly new used 172 from Reno rather than private if all they do is charge you more? (i.e the only warranty given is that remaining of the original 3 year warranty which if i am correct transfers over to a new owner on a private sale anyway?)
I think definitively - advertise private until your pissed off then part ex.
Simply becos you are almost certain to recieve £500 MINIMUM more privately than a dealer is willing to offer you part ex. Now that is a lot of money.
I remember being offered £3000 for a Ka that I knew Ford would...
Reno said on my ticket it required doing immediately. I figured Ive had the car for 23months, and 80% is 4/5 of that time. Therefore 1/5 of that time is just under 5 months. So I should be ok at least for 2 months.
Am i right?
