16gb, just got out out the box.
dont have a clue what to do, obviously just want to crack it and use my o2 sim card :)
gosh, so much to learn !
just downloading the latest itunes !!!!
what's the issue with it being unlocked, why does he want the iphone tariff?
Ideally, I want to use my normal tariff and an iphone with unlimited data.
Thanks for those links, I will review, this is excellent news Sneeks.
sneeks, do you know what that is?
Hopefully 1.1.4 will have exchange support.
We shall see :)
Was going to get the iphone 16gig yesterday but ran out of time and forgot my bankcard today.
Damn :)
yer, but they geeks wont configure it.
Coz it's hosted, I cannot do any changes.
Otherwise, yes.
:)
I know, Imap works with it.
Thanks for all your help.
Daz, no, not taking your time scales as set in stone lol but I would assume it's like that.
I do like HTC products.
Windows mobile is ideal, active sync, office, blah blah blah but need a new toy. :)
Let's hope I can do it through the company.
Thanks again guys, really appreciate your...
yer, I love windows mobile, normally use an TYTN II for work and I love it, but in regards to media, not too good.
If it's november, then I will get this phone on company expenses :)
Stupid 8800.
Right, next decision, 8gig or 16gig !!! mmmmmm
:)
Not a main requirement, however, a large decision factor.
We use a hosted platform for everything, emails being one of them.
They do not support blackberry, only windows mobile. Mainly due to the blackberry exchange license costs.
This is why.
Takes me around 1.45 hours to get to work...
Dilema.
My 8800 has died.
Need a new phone.
Really want an Iphone, but I think it has a lot of things missing.
If the next revision is supposed to come out Sept, I will get an iphone 16gig now.
My main requirement is exchange :(
What do you think ?
Lanschool is well good, this is the same as ARD3 but for windows, but somehow dont think I can use this for work, unless a floor could be a classroom :)
It depends what you mean in regards to locked down.
I truly believe in leaving people to do their thing, the obvious things are locked down, but not many websites or applications are.
It's more to do with work performance.....
I use ultra VNC. Basically I can assist any machine in the office.
in my old job i used to use remote assistance, but give up on that.
RDP kicks the user off.
With ARD I can scan the whole network and look at 10 machines if I want.
Just wanted the same with a windows application.
I do...
Legal issues sorted according to line managers. I have written a letter stating I would set it up however I am not responsible and neither will I be supporting it.
RDP will kick the user off. VNC is great, but want something more along the lines of ARD.
Sometimes I hate IT.
I am used to using ARD3, it's great, even works with windows. I can view multiple user desktops on the same screen.
What do you guys use as network administrators to view peoples desktops?
you're a very wise guy Daz.
I do like MAC products, but I like Windows too.
The whole idea of having everything integrated into one, I love it.
13" macbook pro would be so good it's un real! So would sex from my gf, however we cannot have everything can we.
:rasp:
Anyone got it working, apparently imap4 is the only way to do it effectively.
This is probably the only reason why I have not got an iphone, due to the exchange support.
Also, the 12 month contracts dont have the unlimited data bolt on like the 18 month ones do.
Thanks,
gabi.
lol pc world open?..........
Nothing open this time.
Just want to use the stupid router as a switch!
Damn thing, re-set it! Picks up the IP from DHCP however, anything connected to it, even if WGR614's DHCP is turned off, still dishes anything else a 192.168.1.xxx address.
lol you cheeky sod dafthead.
Just trying to use it as an extender.
Basically, the muppets when they did the cabling. Only 2 ports per user.
This is fine and dandy, 1 phone, 1 net. But when they have a bank of 4 people, 8 ports, where the heck is the printer going to go unless using a...
Being a r****d.
I have plugged in a WGR614 to a network, (get some extra ports)
It has grabbed the IP fine through DHCP 151 range.
I have connected other pc's to this router as such.
I want the DHCP to come from the product which is providing the WGR614 an IP.
Any products attached to...
That's very cheap.
Even has a 17" screen and 2 gig ram and a large HD.
Only issue is the processor as such, not too good on the old battery life.
But if mainly plugged in the mains, then that's no problem :)
