I am starting to look for a full set of tyres for my 182, but the price difference between 195 and 205 tyres is staggering.
Would there really bea noticeable difference in performance if I went for 195 tyres?

Right guys, I am after a bit of help. My engine ticks, sounds very tappety and is annoying me to hell!
It definitely isn't the carbon canister as I disconnected that and it still makes the noise.
It doesn't sound rattley like a dephaser does.
The ticking increases with engine speed...
At £2799 it seems ludicrously cheap!

I have been contemplating forced induction for a while and had my heart set on a supercharger conversion, but for the money this option seems hard to ignore...
Yesterday I fitted some sportlines and swapped the wheels front to rear.
But now I have quite a lot of peddle vibration at low speeds, it diminishes at 30mph+.
The odd thing is, there is no vibration or kick back through the steering..

I am going to have a bash at replacing my top mounts the morning and I have read that spring compressors are not needed for lowering springs. Will I need them for a 182 on standard cup suspension?

When I first bought my 182 I had the cambelt replaced by Renault, roughly 18 months ago. I like to think I know a fair bit about cars, but I had never heard of a dephaser...

The previous owner must have just used automatic car washes and it's really quite swirly. Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to get a full paint correction? The bodywork is in great condition, but it would be great to have the car blocking as good as possible...

I am after some advice really. My belt sounds like it's slipping, can't be 100% sure. But I had the cam belt and aux belt changed by Renault including the accessory belt kit.
That would include the tensioner wouldn't it? And if it does then it definitely shouldn't be slipping!!
I am wondering if there is anyone local I can get my checked out with?
I have got some hesitancy at high revs and i am concerned it might be serious.
The car has had regular servicing, belts have been changed and more recently the coil pack, plugs and leads.

Hey guys, my 182 has developed a cheeky little flat spot at about 6k rpm. Should I be worried and is there anything I could/ should do?
I changed the plugs earlier today to no avail?!
I have a hairline crack on a weld on the CAT. Guessing that a genuine CAT would be silly money I am thinking of adding the de-cat to my scorpion 192.
Gave Renault a call , anyway, to find out the price.....
