I ordered a replacement passenger wing mirror glass off ebay,
they've sent me a drivers side with the dots on it and on the back the part number is upside down for the passenger side,
are they symmetrical to fit both sides, or will I have to start all over again?
I would test fit it but it's...
I've been thinking about this every time it happens,
when i'm nearly out of fuel and the needle is just touching the red line but the fuel light hasn't come on yet,
the trip computer says I can do another 40 miles before i'm totally out of fuel, 40 miles is like £10 quids worth of fuel in my...
Now I know the correct place to buy these from is TND in france for an FN10 seal kit,
but they will only do IBAN bank transfer for 53 euros and their emails don't really make much sense.
So I thought i'd look on ebay on the off chance and found this...
None of the fog lights work front or back,
the dash light still works but no lights.
I planned on checking the fuses but it's been pissing down all day so haven't had the chance,
although I doubt both fuses will have gone at the same time,
I have read there's a relay for the fogs under the...
This can't be right looks far too nice to go for £800 quid, maybe £1800,
if it is it's a right bargain!

A mate of mine was driving down the A610 between Eastwood and the M1 roundabout near Kimberley,
he saw a load of milk crate sized boxes every few hundred yards chained to sign posts,
it wasn't until he was approaching the M1 he saw there were actually cameras poking out the top of them.
He's...
No tax or mot but the ad reads well and it looks clean and well looked after,
i've never driven one so i've no idea why I like these so much,
it's just for a 1.3 they look like they'd be a right laugh to belt around in...
Original wooden wheels and a clutch pedal that's just mental,
plus he does 50/60mph in it, well I say in it, he's more on top of it,
that's one brave man!
F*cking cool though!
After a quick search I can't believe there isn't a thread for Finnigan and Freiberger's antics,
the Roadkill series is by far my favourite thing on Youtube and the latest episode is their best to date.
Passed each other going in opposite directions at around 12:20pm today,
at the bottom of the main precinct, god knows what the road's called.
Probably not on here, but worth a shot.
Do I definitely need a G-clamp to get the piston back in the caliper because I don't have one,
is there any other way of doing it, like putting the old brake pad on it and hitting it with a hammer?
Love this thing, £995 and it's in Bristol.
Please buy this Daniel, then let me have a go.

I don't normally start threads about individual cars, but I though this one deserved it.
I think i've found a new baller spec dog kennel! (if I ever win the lottery)
The noise!
Most peoples lottery winners garage would be full of super cars and some nice classics,
whereas mine would be filled with stuff like this.
I mean how often do come across Mad Max's car for sale?
At £80k you'd need a friggin' lottery win to afford it...
Is it me or does that seem far too cheap?

I know it says sills need welding but even so, they go for way more money that that normally.
I know it's probably really late notice but can we have a 'Filthiest car award'
if not this year then defiantly for next year please?
The award could like an anti-prize, like be a can of beer, or a chocolate bar,
or better yet some random trophy from a charity shop, like a darts or snooker...
My battery was flat yesterday and I need to check if the alternator's charging it properly,
it should be because it's brand new, i'm thinking the battery running flat and recharged a few times has knackered it.
A bloke I know has lent me this, but I don't know what setting to put it on to check...
Last time I saw one was in the late 80s, someone had one in the next street to where I grew up,
I would have thought these would go for more than £2k in this condition...
(Sorry for the photo, I took it from another thread)
It was flashing for a bit then buggered off,
i've done a search but as usual all the results contradicted each other.
After having my 172 off the road for 2 months, getting back into it feels weird,
the gearstick's too low down and I feel like i'm sat on top of the thing rather than in it.
I've been using a £300 Mondeo that's held together by hope and dreams and rust,
and the driving position in it is so much...
I just got my car going after 2 months of it being an ornament,
i've got a dodgy alternator which drained the battery.
I've just put a multimeter on the alternator and it's putting out 12.5 volts,
don't they normally put out 14V?
I'd love this as a dog carrier, I also like how it looks like a hearse,
bonnet vents need a coat of black though.
Alright for £2k I think.

I need to move my car so i've stuck in the battery from another car,
but the car won't turn over at all, turn the key and 'click' dead!
I tried jump starting it from the other car but my alarm would not stop going off,
and could no be turned off, so I swapped the battery but it's still f*cked...
It's not the actual model used in the film, but even so i'd love to cruise around in that wearing a Stetson.
