I have to admit I don't have direct experience of Asy 5 (only Asy 3) but have been informed by those with back to back experience that they wear quicker plus PS4 treadwear is rated 320 vs Asy 5 300.
For me personally PS4s have been harder wearing than other comparable UHP road tyres but if...
Nice. There is certainly a crossover between RS and Subaru enthusiasts. In fact in 33 years of owning cars, RS and Subaru are the only makes I've owned more than once.
I'm on my seventh Scoob, a '97 classic with 2.1 stroker and DCCD drivetrain.
It was a great event even if I did have to park in the mud :) quick jetwash sorted that.
Highlight for me was @CFAB's immaculate Titanium 182. Clio goals.
AD08RS and NS-2R have much stiffer sidewalls than PS3 or Rainsports without being as extreme as a full-fledged track tyre like the AR-1. I run AD08RS in 195/50/15 and although my Clio is a weekend fun car only I'd have no problem running year-round.
Never used one but reckon you'd need a more than usually powerful PW for those roller types to work (plus possible clearance issues as above). I use a 90 degree curved lance and even that is fairly tight under (my not overly lowered) 182.
I'd argue that they're still under-valued in the current market. Same with all RS Meganes bar the Clio V6 and R special editions. When you look at prices nowadays across the board, a 200, R26 or 250 are all total bargains.
It’s not glamorous and won’t earn any cred with the neighbours or on internet forums, but you won’t find better value than one of these:

Yes they do break but buy the the extended warranty for £21 and you have a decent tool for at least three years for...
1.5 hours is hardly a long way to go to see a good specialist.
Beaniesport in Milton Keynes may be nearer?
For parts: Renault Parts Direct, KAM Racing, Road Track Race Parts.
What tool do I need to remove the three screws attaching the steering angle sensor to the squib? It's not Torx as the screws have five splines not six.
Bought from Autodoc many times, albeit not in the past few months when we've been having this logistics crisis. They are based in Germany as are Eibach which probably contributes to the keen pricing.
The 4S has a stiffer sidewall than the 4 and it features a dual compound - the outer part of the tyre is biased for dry grip and inner for wet grip.
TBH unless you find yourself exceeding the limits of the PS4 then the PS4S isn't worth the extra money. For 99% of people 99% of the time the PS4...

Good man! I'm running 3 degrees camber on the front with solid top mounts. The OEM rubber mounts and camber settings weren't to my liking at all. I am getting my camber and caster from adjustable top mounts - not sure how much camber you can get with bolts, but if you like cornering then max it...
The above settings are a good base but depending on how hard you corner and how you like your steering, you could consider more camber up front. I found increasing front camber vastly improves turn-in and steering feel, at the expense of wearing the front tyres on the inner edge if you spend a...
