I got an email from carphone warehouse and they had an offer of circa 42 quid a month and 180 upfront for 24GB data and (I think) unlimited texts and calls. That was the S8+ too I think!
Its Vodafone though lol...
I was swaying more towards EVGA lol but price dependant I'd definitely consider it. 1070 is probably gonna be above my price range mind you as I'm stretching it with a 6gb 1060 as it stands!
Looks like I'm settled on getting myself a 1060. I've narrowed it down to an EVGA FTW or MSI Gaming X, but from what I can gather there's not much perforance difference in them at all so its probably just coming down to what one looks nicer!
Gaz Golds are another option around that price range. I've just went with a set of those for mine although I can't comment on how good they are yet as the car is still on axle stands lol
Need to get myself a new graphics card. Can't really justify spending £500+ on a GTX 1080 so I've been leaning towards the 1060 as it seems a happy medium between being fairly high performing and still relatively cheap, but does anyone have any other suggestions?
My current card is a Radeon HD...
I can understand where the OP is coming from with this tbh. There are far too many people now with dashcams who are simply out to try and be some shite vigilante and catch people who do the tiniest thing wrong on the roads.
That being said, they absolutely have their place in genuine incidents...
Not a bad improvement using a wheel... 1:25.793
f**k it, gunning for top spot now LOL! I'll have another go at that before the end of the month, couple corners I can't get right.
Anyone know how to save replays on PC? Or are people just using screen recording software?
Thought I'd give this a go on xbox as I picked the game up for free. Turns out I'm not very good LOL.
1:27.178 is my best time so far (it's not even worth attempting a screenshot for)😂. Controller and no assists.
Going to give it a go on PC with my wheel instead I think.
Tower has been bolted and sealed in place so I'm trying to avoid removing it again if possible. Wondered if I could try and clamp it in a bit until it lined up but I don't think there will be enough of a gap to get the linkage through if I done that
Has anyone ever had issues fitting these? I can't get the bottom of the shifter tower to line up with the linkage properly. The holes look out of line
Think my only option will be to elongate one of the holes to make it fit, which I don't really fancy doing tbh.
Cheers mate, I'll give those settings a go on the 4th...if I'm ready in time!
The figures on the graph are damper rates. From what I can gather it's the compression and rebound figures for the softest and hardest settings on the dampers.
Spring rate wise I went for 450 front and 350 rear...
Any updates on how the ebay ones are holding up @cs_dave ?
I'm thinking about getting a set for my new gaz golds. Car will never see winter/salty roads anyway but I still fancy something to protect them a little.
It's been a while. I bought some things.
Anyone able to explain shock dyno graphs? Because I don't have a f**king clue what this means 😂
There's 2 sheets, both like that. I can't work out if that's for a front and a rear shock on each graph, or if it's only for one shock per...
Finally came to the bottom of my issues with my pc starting up at random times. I enabled the 'ErP ready' option in the BIOS earlier in the week and it's not happened since, so that seems to have sorted it!
I also found some random cold cathodes in an old PC case in my cupboard and decided my...
As far as I'm aware mate there's only one non-ABS type you can get. What you could do is measure the outside diameter of the drum itself. It'll let you know the size at least. If there's more than one set available though with differences in the mounting points for the shoes inside the drum then...
Does your car have ABS?
There should be 2 or 3 different sizes of shoes. If you can find sizes then I'm almost certain you're looking for the wider shoes with a smaller diameter. IIRC the two options are 180mm and 160mm diameter (roughly).
I've just been through the exact same with a 52 plate...
Mines reactivated itself when I swapped motherboard a few months back. Just clicked the option for a change of hardware when I started back up and it popped up asking to reactivate windows. Was surprisingly easy!
It's turning the PC on after I have shut it down mate, not the other way about. Runs absolutely perfect when it's started. Not sure if you got mixed up there or that's a typo.
Not tried disabling the software yet but I'll maybe give that a go tonight. It's bizarre! Even after shut down and...
Got a bizarre issue with my PC currently. Every time my phone connects to the wifi in my house, my PC turns itself on 😂 I'm assuming it's a BIOS setting or something I've missed but I currently have 'wake on LAN' turned off and can't work out what else could be causing it.
It's an...
Much better choice this year for the evening food! Will be there this year again. Hopefully on track this time...

Well, I ordered a set of Gaz Golds the other day and went for 450lbs front and 350lbs rear. So in true CS fashion, I've went ahead and listened to absolutely no one...almost 😂
Hopefully my logic in this works out but we'll see in about 6 weeks time when I get it out on track!
See...
Just had a quick look there and found this website
http://www.shock-factory.co.uk/1.9-springs.html
Never heard of them before tbh, so no idea on quality but they do any spring rates and seem well priced!
Had no idea they had recommendations like that, cheers mate. That's a good base to start with anyway, maybe bring the fronts down in hope of a little bit extra comfort and up the rears a little going on how my car performed in the past and the fact I prefer the rear to move around a bit.
