Lol I can't help but laugh at this and I know I shouldn't.
But if the car is stationary, the brakes won't squeak, as they aren't doing anything.
But, in answer to your problem of brakes squeaking when moving, it's probably because of a number of things
Really cheap nasty pads
Race pads that...
I think 197s started in late 2006 and was replaced with the 200 in 2009.
I've had 182 and 172s for years, but the issues with the 197 and 200s puts me off so never bothered with em.
If their anything like the rears they are that tight a fit, the bolt is basically pointless anyway.
Never done a front one, but the rears are impossible to remove without damaging the sensor as it's that tight a fit.
I can't see how it could be leaking gearbox oil high up where it joints the block, as the bell housing doesn't contain any oil, just the input shaft, but if it was leaking from there the oil would be coming out of the bottom of the bell housing, not high up.
I think all that spring does is makes it return to the centre when in neutral, but I suppose it could have got dislogded and stopping first.
You could try undoing the selector rod pinch bolt and realigning just to make sure it's not the selector rod which has moved slightly.
Mark it with tip...
I'd say that's a ktec stealth with a decat.
Loud as hell. Been there done that.
I bought a cats2u cat to quieten it down, even with the centre section is was a pain in th arse
Hard to see from those pics mate, turn the flash on.
As crually, looking at it, it does appear there is a cat there...
You might be able to get a custom sleeve made to fit it as it will be the wrong diameter, but I'm not sure if the 1.2 follows the same exhaust path under the car
Probz not sound very good though, I wouldn't bother, just save for a 172, you can get them for next to nowt these days.
I bought a K2 last year, perfectly fine for washing the car.
I think it's when you start trying to clean a full driveway etc they start to fail.
Got a k7 at work and it's had some serious hammer and still going strong
I would mount the exhaust first so it sits under the bumper and then work out the cut from there.
My ktec exhaust came with an adjustable strap around the backbox so you could then alter the height
Haha I ended up with the exact same part left over last time around.
I seem to remember it going on the end of that support bar that runs next to the battery from the ECU to the front but I never re fit it before selling the car, I believe it's still in my toolbox lol
Not running a cup brake setup isit?
A ring that knackered I would have thought would be triggering the abs and you would be able to feel the feedback of the abs pump through the pedal.
Drop the subframe mate.
I did it by just splitting the box and did it from above once and by the time I'd emptied the engine bay of everything in the way and manoivered the box into a place I could access the little bolts into the flywheel it would have been quicker to just drop the subframe...
