Hi guys. My aux belt is due soon and I'm stuck between either getting a pms ac delete kit or just using a standard Renault aux kit.
I never use the ac anyway as it needs re gassing.
Are there any reliability issues with the pms kit?
So today on my normal commute to work I came to a stop and dropped the clutch and the engine dropped to about 300rmp so I blipped the throttle and it came back to life.
Car pulls fine and there's no smoke or anything but the idle is pretty bad, seems worse than my old 182.

I've got some pretty bad torque steer. Car tracks perfectly straight off power and on motorways but as soon as I accelerate it wants to pull right.
I'm guessing worn wishbone bushes are the culprit.
Would I be better off polybushing the wishbones on it now and buying a new ball...

Im after some H R springs for my 172 and will probably order them from eurocarparts, but i was just wanting to check if there are any traders on here who offer them slightly cheaper than euros? I think euros charge 157 which is about the same price as the eibath sportlines.
Getting some sportlines at Xmas to go on my 172 ph2.
Now when I did them on my old 182 with cup packs there was no tension in the spring when the nut got towards the top and the top mount simply lifted off.
Is this the same situation for a 172 non cup or will I need compressors?
Fitted my new ktec stealth today and all is well other than the tail pipe is hanging about an inch lower than the bumper and really annoying me.
I've had a play and the only way I can think of making it actually stealth would be to have the tail pipe firing at an angle slightly in the direction...
I noticed tonight that my front foglights don't come on with the rear foglights and on the left stalk there is only 1 click which turns on the rears.
I remember on my 182 1 click did the fronts and another click put the rears on.
Am I missing something? Is there a different switch for them on...
I need a new exhaust for my 172 but don't have a great deal to play with 240 is my absolute max which would get me a ktec mild steel stealth.
Is there a anything better for that sort of Money? Stainless options start at around 300 which is a bit much the shell out at the minute.

Bought all the bits went out and can't find the dam locking nut.
They are the type which spin on the outer collar so the method of bashing a socket on ain't gonna work.

How will the mot go down with this wheel as I'm guessing the airbag won't be present..

i recently changed both track rod ends and went to the local tyre place to get the tracking done, set off home and it was miles out, so took it back twice for them to do it properly, second time my steering wheel was aiming right when going...
I changed my clutch a few weeks ago but I've just realized I didn't torque up the pressure plate bolts, I just nipped them all up tight.
The car has been running fine and clutch doesn't slip.
Should I take the car to bits again to torque them up or is it not likely to be a massive issue?

Question is it came with a bush that looks to press into the flywheel. It pictures a tool and a rubber hammer to nock it in.
Is the tool in the picture the blue plastic shaft that came in the box or is that only to help align the disk?
