That sounds a bit on the expensive side tbh. I thought SWR were nearer £550-600 for all that work! They done my belts last year and I was just shy of £690 but that included a new thermostat, waterpump and coolant as well. I can't fault them or their work to be fair though.
Could always try...
Yeah I just touch the middle button and it wakes/unlocks my phone. Pretty simple.
Cheers Adam, will do at some point. Take it I'll need to back up all my stuff before hand?
I take it you're rooted? I had Greenify on my OPO but couldn't take full advantage really without knowing what wakelocks there were. I really should root this one but I don't have a clue what I'm doing!
Never noticed it was you that was behind the evo! Was unlucky for the astra that came down afterwards and hit the oil and rolled onto its side. There's a video of it somewhere.
Always seems to be a fair bit of action in the sessions compared with an open pit.
Edit, found it!
I've managed it on two clios now. The key is taking your time. Stop when it goes tight, go back the other way to clean up the threads, rinse, repeat, and eventually it'll free up more and more until it can come all the way out.
Or maybe I've just been lucky.
Got my engine mounts on the other night. Engine one was easy enough but the gearbox proved a pain in the arse when I couldn't find an 18mm deep socket, and Halfords etc don't sell them. Found a socket eventually though and got it done the following night.
Most things rattle inside the car...
As above. Different final drive in the boxes. JC5-089 was a ph1 box with the longer final drive and speedo drive. JC5-129 and 130 are the ph2 boxes with the shorter final drive. You'd ideally want the 129 box from a 172 cup as it also has the speedo drive which a ph1 needs.
There's not a huge...
The sizes are the centre bore diameter. So 3mm difference in them... Yes there's quite a difference.
If you're getting 57.1 spacers to fit to a 60.1 centre bore on the car they physically won't fit. They'll be 3mm too small.
I'm using Type Mail for my emails just now and it let's you set do not disturb times, but that doesn't help for notifications from other apps lol.
Could possibly use tasker to turn off notifications for certain apps after a specific time?
Ah I see, so I'm basically moaning about not having features that were just additions for CM lol. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Did notice that about the priority interruptions last night. Hopefully they add that in.
Got mine yesterday. Pretty impressed with it. Fingerprint scanner works well and the camera already seems miles better on a couple of quick photos. Will see how battery life and general performance pans out today.
Can't say I'm overly impressed with oxygen OS though. Not sure if it's because...
Another slightly impulse purchase tonight...been out and bought these that came up for sale local to me:
Also had a works day/night out on Friday. I don't remember much, but when I woke up the following morning I'd won a flocked dash top on eBay 😂 Fairly cheap too which was a...
Aye similar in braking performance I think but the rc5's last a lot better at higher temps
(on paper anyway, never tried to ds2500's to tell for myself)
I've never had a problem with my RC5's round Knockhill yet John. Only thing I ever feel is the tyres going off and ABS kicking in. Granted I might no be as hard on the brakes as you oldies  but they seem more than up for the job! Last well too.
Think this was my 2nd trackday lol. Still not sure what happened. I remember the car snapping left a bit on the entrance to the chicane then I just failed at life and never steered back the other direction properly 😂
Camera makes it look a lot slower than it was. Went in to the...
Steering rack bushes? Get a look down the back of the engine bay while someone moves the steering wheel back and forth and see if there's any movement on the rack
So, impulse decisions over the weekend meant I now have a cup spoiler, which got fitted yesterday. Looks so much better now.
In other news, the car managed Blyton again at the weekend with no mishaps. Well, apart from using all my coolant on track, but that magically sorted itself out on the...
Some pics from last night's track night
Didn't want to push it on too much considering I have another full day to get through on Sunday, but the car performed well again. Only thing was a little knock near the end that I think is some play in my caliper sliders.
Been having a few thoughts about what my plans over winter will be with this. Insurance runs out at the end of this month, so I'm considering whether or not to just put it off the road.
Top bearing in my steering column has seen better days and although it wasn't bad enough to be picked up in...
Haha, invite is already claimed however if I for some reason decide I don't want the phone I'll put it up on here.
Not sure what it's worth tbh. It's got a crack on the very bottom of the screen, only over the buttons, not the display, and a couple of other small marks. I had considered...
Know someone with an invite for this who can't really justify a new phone. Very tempted to get it myself. Do the ones here with the Two think it's worth the upgrade?
Anyone want to buy my Oneplus One too? Lol
Liar. I witnessed you wanting to change Craig's clutch in the paddock at knockhill on my first track day! 😂😂
I don't take much to track days, just the essentials really. A jack, breaker bar, torque wrench, few sockets and spanners. Without a van or other car to take the...
Replaced my ball joint on the car tonight and gave it a quick spanner check in prep for Thursdays track night. Took my pads out to remove the anti rattle shims from the carriers, and I'm genuinely amazed at how little I've used of my RC5's. They've seen 2 half day sessions and one or two nights...
