    Soild lifters rockers lashes fingers.......

RsTuning - reliability or the option to run more 'aggressive' parts (such as cams) within a normal limiter (7.8k ish). Engine is intended to be raised compression NA for racing/track only. (Not a road legal car). Chip - no not wanting to rev higher on the cheap but thanks for your insight! As...

    Race engine parts configuration.

Dan, thanks. What kind of difference in power delivery would you expect between the 422/23 profiles? Just trying to gauge engine character. No word on the 5xx series - need far higher RPM?

    Race engine parts configuration.

Right team, lend me your brains with this one. I am going to go steel internals; so this provides me with 3 options: 12.6:1 11.8:1 stock I also have the choice between the following 3 camshaft profiles (Catcam owe me a replacement set so restricted to that brand.) 421 422 423 or am I...

    Congrats to DanPl6 on cracking 200bhp (rs2 + 197 cams)

Interesting reading. If this below is a typical result for the kit on a stock car as a bolt on / removable upgrade with a good calibration I think it delivers I wonder if the inlet flows to match the stock engines requirements across the RPM range; alter the cams and your changing certain...

The truth about the K Series?

Well according to the article it's not the headgasket at fault that causes the failure, it is the thermostat.

    Soild lifters rockers lashes fingers.......

Confused... What are the options out there for the F4R valve train other than valves and springs? Which parts in the head are called what? (lifters rockers lashes fingers)? For instance what are these / how do they work...

    Gearbox replacement rebuild options?

Another option is a manual dog box found on the mk2 European rally cars, although again not really suitable for road use.

    Digital dash/speedo

Ok. I'm trying to get hold of a database that I can work with/through vector to setup comms between Dash2 / SC typhoon (EC1)... Proving to be elusive at the moment even though the TDF ECU is supposedly supported by RT directly.

But you state it was a well know specialist that carried out the work?

    Another Example of Poor Workmanship...

Yes I work for the company. Can appreciate your perspectives, but I disagree; I can't see any reason why a pro trader should be publishing other traders would be mistakes without grounding. Keep your head down, get on with the job. All IMO of course.

    Another Example of Poor Workmanship...

No, but what you are doing is provoking the inevitable 'who-dunnit'... See the post above this one. Who does this help publishing this?

    Another Example of Poor Workmanship...

I don't understand why would you publish this, it lacks professionalism and it only encourages a bitter atmosphere between traders / within the forum.

    Icemans Britcar Endurance project 182

Aesthetics wise I prefer the following: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-VOLT-CERAMIC-HEATER-12v-HEATING-COOLING-FAN-CAR-DASH-PLUG-FOR-FROSTY-MORNINGS-/121001641982?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c2c4287fe The styling is more suggestive of speed... I think you'll agree?
