Finally repaired the absolutely knackered rear exhaust hangers today. New pattern part metal plates and genuine rubbers from Renault (see how many minutes they last)
The repair panels are off chap on the Facebook groups and although not cheap can't recommend them enough. Perfect fit...
These are BMW sparkling graphite grey matey, lovely flake in the sun. I have a set of Williams wheels in same colour which shows off the flake even better as the spokes are wider and flatter so can see more paint!

Now mounted in my daily the rattle is in all honesty a t**t. I'm going to go the lead shot route as we've got that stuff at work and report back

yeah seems fine still, rear exhaust hanger is kippered so needs sorting (one actually on the boot floor, the metal bracket bit) so zip tied up at mo
and the rust on the drivers arch is still creeping
apart from that it lapped it up last night, oh and I melted the exhaust surround drivers side...
The march to 200k is in its final stages now, treated her to her 199k service a few days back so she got:
- Oil and Filter
- New spark plugs
- New HT leads
- New Coil pack
- New wiper blades
Also comp tested the engine for a giggle, not perfect and done when warm which some say isn't right way...
If one was hactually of breeding, one would know the butler attends purely to the internal needs of the stately home. Facilitation of maintenance of the estate lies firmly within the jurisdiction of the head groundsman my good sir
