UCH Fault Headlights, Sidelight, Dashlights all going off when driving

good news! where is the UCH module located? i disturbed my abs wiring loom which is right next to the exhaust and that caused me major issues for weeks. it was the connector under the subframe and one (maybe two lambdas) go into it. its prone to corrosion in there. if the UCH is no where near...

UCH Fault Headlights, Sidelight, Dashlights all going off when driving

i had this about 2 weeks ago. turned out the alternator red power cable had corroded but was still touching the nut that used to hold it in place. as the battery slowly drained it would do all of this to me. the thing is it was going on for weeks but never actually let the battery go low enough...

    Unknown engine trim found!

also on the bonnet part.. there is two rubber circles just above the grill one each side. these put pressure on the bonnet and he likely undone the one by the alternator if it was digging in to him while working on it (i just did mine) give it a twist to raise it slightly and see where you go...

    Windscreen replacement

Who's this with? I phoned national windscreens for my local fitter and he wanted 240+VAT? I'd happily pay what you paid but this seems to be a lot more than everyone else has quoted

    Windscreen replacement

I'm with elephant who is part of admiral who deal with people who have had claims where admiral typically wont. I just phoned them and they said I can claim on the windscreen cover I have and it wont affect NCD, but I will need to declare it as a claim under ' any claims and convictions in the...

    Windscreen replacement

also as this is a relatively new thread did anyone get a replacement window outside of the insurance? if so how much did it cost? i'm going to ask my insurance tomorrow about NCD being affected as it never used to be, due to it being a separate policy running alongside the car insurance policy...

    Windscreen replacement

yeah its ok but at a standard price its pennies different compared to H2GO, and the H2GO far outperforms it as well as longevity as you say. but if i could get Rain X for a silly price id get it to run around and do my house windows with :)

    Windscreen replacement

don't go for it its a cheap product mainly sold in halfords etc. Go for a product called H2GO its am amazing product. similar price to Rain X but lasts around 3 months per application and depending on how much you use the 100ml bottle should see you through a year. It is slightly more expensive...

    battery and STOP flashing.

ignore me i couldn't find any posts about this before and now ive found loads... i touched my alternator red cable and got a zap :dizzy: it was literally resting against the nut holding which is holding the O connector in it was once attached to lol 😅 only very slightly cheaper than a...

    Air con

Thanks @clioben182 so I don't need the O rings, just the brown seal? I'll pop into Renault and order them as soon as I can then. Last time I went in there for a bearing it took them 3 attempts to get it right and the 1st two times I gave them the part number (some wise person on here gave me it)...

    Air con

OK thanks. I was reading a thread on here somewhere someone ordered a kit and it only came with O rings. Would this be correct or is there only 1 kit that comes with everything? Thanks again

    Air con

Hi, I had my air con gassed and found a leak and it was empty in 2 days. I'm after a new air con seal and can't seem to find them separately and Renault want £18 for a kit. Is this the only option? I haven't opened the pipe yet to see what type of seal there is but I've seen some people buy...

ABS ESP and SERV lights problem.

Yeah I had a right headache and no proper knowledge of this as I've never played with an abs system before. It's not too complicated once you get your head around it. There was a thread somewhere on here about what the resistance should be. If you can't find it try all 4 and 3 are likely to be...

ABS ESP and SERV lights problem.

Where do you live? I wasn't charged to have mine done unless he could point out the problem which is what they should do. He hasn't fixed or given you the problem so he shouldn't have charged you as he's not actually done anything but plug it in. As for the wiring diagram I couldn't resist find...

ABS ESP and SERV lights problem.

The machine I used was a snap on and it read between 302-326 still but that was resistance not km/h? Not saying he's wrong but the numbers are obviously similar to mine, any chance he could have read it wrong? I may be well off here all equipment can be completely different in the way they read...

ABS ESP and SERV lights problem.

As far as I'm aware you can use a resistor to trick it but I wouldn't know how to go about it. There's different size abs rings for the front drive shafts are you 100% sure you got the exact ones for your car? I believe there are 3 types. Off the top of my head you have a 26 tooth and a 43...

ABS ESP and SERV lights problem.

As loggyboy said your best bet is get it plugged in and then spin each wheel individually and read the speed sensors and this should then give you the faulty corner of your car as 3 speed sensors will change and one shouldn't. You then make your life 4 times easier as you only have to focus on...
