Yes mate, it's all fixed and it was the polybushes the wrong way round as bozo said. Even once it was fixed it still rubbed a bit so i cut out more metal until it stopped rubbing. I ended up cutting out the entire bracket where the front bumper screws too, i'll see if i can find a pic 25mm...

I've just done exactly the same thing on my track 172 Fitted a new disc on Wednesday, tracked it at Mallory friday and on the way home it started making a horrific whining noise. I can't find anywhere that does uprated ones though!

It's front and rear i'm breaking. No spacers on rear (hub shims instead) 25mm on front which i know will increase the load on the bearing, but i didn't think that much! All bearings were genuine I've got a couple of spare hubs from a doner car, i'll fit them tomorrow and hopefully that will...

Evening all, Does anywhere sell uprated wheel bearings? I keep busting them on my 172 track car. It does have a hard suspencion set up and it takes a LOT of abuse. The latest set of bearings have lasted about 1000 very hard miles. Any ideas on how to stop it happening? Cheers
