Re: The clio's replacement...
I know mate, I looked a couple of years ago but this ones suffered a bit as the bodywork shows and the 3rd gear syncro has gone.. however it was less than half the price of a decent ST205 on pistonheads and ebay at the moment so well worth it.
Its beyond my...
Just a quick pic but I've finally decided to move on from my 172, its been an erm, emotional? 2 years of 172 ownership but with insurance costs getting rediculous I went 'classic' ;)
Its a completely standard GT4 ST205 that I picked up incredibly cheap due to some small niggles that I'm gonna...

Good girl heh. I swear she only goes there to perv on guys. apparently theres 'a massive bloke who's proper fit' who goes on the treadmills at the same time as her:S
A lot of members on here are good at pushing the price of clio's in general down as opposed to other owners clubs where you would expect to see cars valued at higher prices than AT etc...
It going into the garage on Tuesday I'll get him to look at that bit. I HATE climbing around under cars on axle stands. Are they similar price to the normal track rod ends Dan?
My cars tracking has been out for a while, I've just replaced the wheel bearing, track rod ends and a bottom ball joint however there appears to be a little bit of play in the steering rack. Its not causing the steering wheel to wobble, so its not a big amount of play but with the wheels of the...
Modern turbo's even now dont suffer that badly from turbo lag tbh. I know its an extreme but my mates Prodrive STi has virtually no lag and the power is much much smoother delivery than an old turbo car. If more people start pouring money into turbo's then we might start to see turbo technology...
If it is 1 out of 100 then surely its more harmful doing things this way and putting off the next 100 customers instead of just refunding him and selling the parts on? Based on that kind of numbers you risk potentially losing another £20k+ for the sake of £200, and have already banked £20k from...

Wires up the side if the dash certainly aren't neat though. I'll have a crack at taking the dash out and wiring it all in over the weekend. I dont fancy having them sticking out at all and I dont think theres enough room behind the Apillar cover to sink them in.
I've bought myself some components and I was going to fit them myself, but this requires taking the dash out I think and I've never done this before? Can any-one give me some advice on how best to get the tweeters and crossovers fitted or point me to the guide that I've missed if it is there...
I got the exhaust off of Nato_Nev off of here for £160
Jon, FB me and we'll have a go soon haha.
And I'm not cleaning inside the arches, it'll be dirty again within minutes!
Cheers guys, the wheels I'm really happy with tbh, the cars getting there now just a couple more bits and it'll be just...
It is a lot louder than I thought it would be. Theres not much in the way of silencers on the exhaust so I'm a bit concerned of going out early or coming home late that I'm gonna start upsetting my neighbours :(
