Mines an 04' plate, and there's a 182 round the corner which is also a 04. Depends when they got registered, the bloke who bought it left the original receipt in the glovebox and there was a big discount on it I think...hense he obvo bought it :)

Yeah my car does that, for about 1min if I jump in it and drive, I try to start it up first then do my belt put a decent CD on and shizz. I think it does it for a reason, to stop you over-revving it when its freezing. How much was your RSTuner, as I would like one. Do they work with Mac btw?

If its totally dry in there it will cause a problem later on in life if not already. But yeah, cut the clip off and inside there, don't fill it so its impossible to move in there as it will just push it out all over the brakes inner wheel and suspension arms etc. Does the ABS light stay off...

Its easier than that mate. clean up the toothed ring (Exciter ring) with a wire bush, clean where the boot sits and wipe over with brake cleaner, look inside make sure there is nothing that will damage the CV, fill it up with grease and put a new clip or a new big cable tie on. Jobs a good'un.
