I was using a eezie bleed kit, so no-one was pumping the pedal! I think I will do it the normal way tomorrow.

Yeah that's what I mean, it pumps up, when it's off, but as soon as I start the car the pedal, no matter how much I pump it, it doesn't even attempt to go solid.

Someone's painted mine already, so I was going to clean mine with some emory cloth, so most of the red has gone, then clean it with some brake/clutch cleaned so i've removed most of the dust.

I believe it's just a different pump mate, and a different washer bottle, which I can't find second hand anywhere. But like Guysy says, leave them there, but don't connect them, they don't really do much! And they make a mess...!
