Bargin or not, what'd you guys think?
I really want some decent shampoo and wax, and the rest looks good right?
Ta,
Dan
Yeah that's what I mean, it pumps up, when it's off, but as soon as I start the car the pedal, no matter how much I pump it, it doesn't even attempt to go solid.
Yeah I have bled brakes before mate but I've always been taught to start from the furthest away from master cylinder and get closer...! Get me?
Obvo that way is wrong! Lol!
Hi, sunday I went about changing my brake hoses, broke a nipple and got a second had caliper off a guy from here. Fitted it, bled the brakes with 'Gunson Eezibleed' always kept fluid topped up.
Anyways, I can get a pedal easily when the vehicle is off, but as soon as I start the car, pedal...
Welcome!! Looks like a nice car you have my friend!
Don't buy a bottle unless you have looked at it! Take it out and check the rubber gromits that the pumps sit into. This is was what leaking on mine, so I cleaned them up and placed a bit of sealer around them both. Good as new! The reason I did...
Someone's painted mine already, so I was going to clean mine with some emory cloth, so most of the red has gone, then clean it with some brake/clutch cleaned so i've removed most of the dust.
I believe it's just a different pump mate, and a different washer bottle, which I can't find second hand anywhere.
But like Guysy says, leave them there, but don't connect them, they don't really do much! And they make a mess...!
Nah you missed my point, if I had massive Brembo's, they'd be green.
Black it is, i've bought some black paint now, so that's what they are going to be :)
Not a cheap job though is it?
Mine just cost me £600, that was cambelt kit, aux belt kit and water pump. All done by my local Renault specialist, as recommended by the guys on here!
But, now I know its all done, so piece of mind ftw!
Can you not just disconnect the battery, if you don't have the code, don't.
Just take all the fuses out mate!! Lol.
EDIT: Listen to matey above, he speaks more sense :)
