Admiral, I thought, but I just checked and it was Elephant, but Admiral, Elephant and Bell were all within £10 with each other.
I am over the moon tbf mate, just trying a few more, you never know, there might be someone cheaper.
I'll try them now, well tomorrow morning now. You with them mate?
Mine were alright, but I sprayed with WD40 a day before. If you can get hold of a brake pipe spanner too, makes life easier. I think its 11mm and 14mm you need and a pair of pliers to pull the old ones out of the holders.
There should be 4, the longer ones for each of the fronts, and the two short ones fit on the NSR just in front of the beam. The for the rear calipers don't exist, people say they're not needed.
I can't say i've ever heard of that...but then again i'm sure someone will shed some light.
Like what would they put in there instead?
Cigarette lighter is for charging phones and ashtray is for car park change :)
Okay, when my insurance is due my details follow, 21, 4 years NCB, had my 172 for 3months, about 10k a year.
Admiral is the cheapest i've found at £700 with £500 excess.
Anyone know of any that aren't on comparison websites they've used and are cheap?
Cheers
Thats what I did with mine, eBay is your friend! And like Nathan says, 3/4 plate ftw! And all I do to it now is clean it :) Wish I had the money to mod it.
Nathan, you car looks smart as mate...! Loving that colour when its clean!
Not always, as I thought the same, but I have a 96' Clio, and like you say, after 10-15mins it starts to squeak, horrible sound, but jacked it up and it was squeaking when turning.
After a drive, get out and see if one side is hotter than another, this would also indicate bearing.

I thought it was like a silicone spray sorta thing, is it not?
Nah mate he's right!! Lol
It will be alot of water on a hot day too, and it will be at the back of the engine on the bulkhead!
If all your fluids are topped up then it would make sense right? :)
We used to get Autosmart in our work, and in all honestly he used to be expensive and the same stuff another dealer which was called Autoday.
But anyways, his dash cleaner and dash dressing I thought was good. Keeps a fresh smell in the car.
Skoda splitter is where its at, its soft and flexiable, so if you do catch it on the kurb, like I have a few times, it bends and doesn't rip off :)
Looks good too, like you guys say, sets off the bumper along with the 3/4 plate :)
When looking for mine, I wanted a standard one, and the one I bought was the only one I looked at that had, the VIN sticker in the drivers door shut and a full toolkit in the boot. Very few had service history.
If you join up, there is a buying guide that one of the lads on here put together...
A b**ch to do? Really, took me about 20mins to do. Like you say take all that off, all you need is the basics.
I bought my pump of ebay for £6.50 including delivery!
You need a 13mm socket, 10mm socket, ratchet and extensions. The wipers are held on by 13mm nuts, get them off, lift the...
Ideal, guessing that cover just pops off! You had any problems with them?
Btw, there isn't 2 is there? Someone told me there was one inside one of the heater vents?
Cheers
Hi guys,
Found my air con isn't working, its been re-gassed so its not that! My mate plugged in his diagnostics kit and found the sensor above is reading -64c.
What I wanted to do is find it and check its resistance, and see if its mega high! Which i'm hoping it is, as that seems to be a easy...
