Been reading this, my 182 is odd when it's cold, i assumed ot was normal as the only other cat i sport i can compare it too is the wife's 197.
When cold (like today) it ticks over at approx 1400rpm for a few seconds then sits at 1200 for a couple of minutes then 1000 until the cars warmed up...
Mine misses when i drive home from work when the temp is 8 degrees and the car's been stood all day. Does it forabout half a mie and then is fine!
When it,s cold and below 3 degrees it ticks over at 1500rpm gradually dropping to normal after a couple of miles.
I reckon these cars don't lke...
Had to watch this too, the highlight was seeing the 172.
Made me smile with the xmas trees as he put a sheet on to protect the paint.
Hope she lets him keep the clio and not use her pink mini!
My 18 year old has a 1.2 clio 2004 model. He paid £3200 fully. Comp with me and the wife as named drivers.
Couldn't get him insured on the 182. We live in solihull but have a Birmingham post code, seems to be the going rate around here!
Used Yellow Dave's mod on my 182 with a scorpion stainless system, been on over 6 months and had no problems.
You can jiggle/tweak the brackets to line the tail pipes up.

The ones I fitted last month that didn't have spacers were;

Call Renault Wolverhampton on 01902 439267. And speak to Adam, sure he'll get one of the shelf if you want to make sure it's what you want.
Ian.
Had a couple of cars that did that, drove me bonkers!
Wish the clio had a 'flick' wipe instead.
Other thing that drives me mad is the high beam, much prefer to push it forward for main beam and back to 'flash'!
It may be a help, my Audi TT had an aftermarket Alpine CD changer connected to the Audi head unit. There was a box to adapt the Audi signals to work with the Alpine unit, the unit didn't work and I found a thick earth cable from the box was snapped at the connection to the car body, refitted it...
Forgot to say, I think it's mainly cars with climate that have this problem. None climate cars have a proper resisitor pack (the climate one is called a PWM if I remember correctly, which I think stands for pulse width modulation which is how it works), the none climate cars have a pack with 3...
Like Dan says, if you look at the plug that goes into the resistor, it has 5 pins (oops, think I may have put 6 pins somewhere) If you get a piece of wire, or even better, a piece of wire with 2 spade connectors on it, you can connect the 2 outer pins which will make the heater run flat out (the...
Not 100% sure where you're struggling.
The resistor when you take it out looks like the picture.
To get the plug off the resisitor, you have to push the locking pins either side inwards. On my car, the right hand one that was difficult to get to was already broken. They are quite stiff. Then to...
