From setting up a 2 stroke bike on a dyno.....
Not all dynos read the same, I originally ran my untuned bike and got 52bhp, on another dyno it got 45bhp!
It now makes 71 on the second dyno, so would probably read 80 on the first?!
Ianboom.
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place!
I've looked on this forum and on the internet without success, is there an owners manual for the clio sport?
I have a 182, and looked in the book that came with the car for tyre pressures, but the sport isn't listed??
Ian.
I've had a search, but can't find a definitive answer to this.
I have a Skorpion twin back box on my 182 and the rear rubber X type mountings are shot, the last owner used a socket and cable ties to centralise the pipe hanger in the mounting, but it's virtually metal on metal, sits too low and...
Silly question, but hopefully easy answered.
Should the speed limiter switch stay down the same as the cruise control?
My RS200 did, but the 182 I have now flicks back to the middle off position. It all works correctly if I hold the button down.
Cheers, Ian.
I replaced mine-took the front 4 screws out that hold the plastic shield under the spoiler and swapped it-bit of a fiddle, but less hassle than removing the wheel arch liner!
Taken mine out today and found the same-I hadn't located the wiper in the peg/hook which sticks out! It made a grinding noise with the wiper arms off where it was catching on the washer bottle!
Ian.
I took my 182 for an MOT today (failed on number plate lamp and windscrenwashers not working :banghead: luckily, it's a friends garage and I sorted it whilst I was there) and found an oil leak.
I took the undertray off and wiped the are down, but can't see where the leak is coming from! It's not...
I feel for you, had some car park damage to an Audi TT a few years ago and some muppet stole a load of trim of the wife's rs200 a few weeks ago-£300 to repair at cost.
We have CCTV now.
Me and the wife were paranoid about kerbing the alloys (had a 200 sport), a went to see my brother in Somerset and noticed the offside front wheel was scuffed-I didn't do it and the wife said she didn't (she'd admit it if she had and it's her car!).
Went to get it sorted at Renault and the wheel...
We had some grief with Renault Birmingham, but then hit on a decent salesman who lived around the corner from us-we paid £15200 for a new clio sport with a cup pack-We paid cash, but that's the retail price of a standard cup.
At the end of the day, I think going in with cash and playing dealers...
I haven't read all 11 pages, so apologies if this has been covered!
I've had someone open a car door on my car whilst I was sat in it, when I approached them (they were about 50ish) they replied 'so what' and walked off.
I popped in to mother care a few years ago with my pregnant wife and...
I'm lucky to own my 200 outright, but after spending £300 to replace the parts stolen off it & the wife not using it for work (Tesco) in case it gets a trolley in it, it's going. Second hand car prices are in a slump and we were offered an ampount that I'm happy with.
I've just bought a 54...
Not sure if it's the same, but the RS200 has a grommet covering a screw at the latch end of the door, take this out, remove the indicator (not on the ph1/2) and thay slide out. The badge then unclips.
Shame the guy who nicked mine didn't do that-he snapped every lug of it!
