Yes you can drive around with it just don't hit anything as it does what is says protects the fuel rail. If you hit anything switch the ignition off just incase mine constantly sheers the two bolts now on my fourth set

I ran my external aerial from the top corner of the windscreen by opening the door and running the wire down the rubber seal then pushed in behind the dash up and along to the centre windscreen vent then plugged in..... when leaving the car i just removed the arial and let it dangle on the floor...
