2GB RAM for the Macbook[Pro]/Mac Mini, you can get Corsair Mac-tested RAM now.. they have special Mac RAM (SO-DIMM). £98 for 2GB.. awesome. Guess who ordered some of that as soon as it came available?!?! ;) If you buy the Mac stuff (Kingston) it's £200 for 2GB (and that's not from Apple).

You have to pay for unlimited quality tho.. and VERY few providers now do "unlimited". Most "consumer" providers will be throttling something.. and unfortunatly, P2P traffic isn't deemed as a high priority so it often gets hit first.. along with FTP etc..

XFS once bit me on the ass.. I did a repair with an old version of xfstools.. and it failed, so what did I do? while true; do xfs_repair whatever; done and left it overnight. Never did see that data again :(

You ran fsck on a mounted partition? :p To mount it, sudo mount /dev/hda2 /media/ubuntu You may have to fsck it unmounted though... (Disclaimer: Data loss isn't my fault :p)
