Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
That backwards moment at Marham, loves it! :approve:
Bit of a game to fit with that extra joint in, but not too bad. Thanks again bud :)
I thought my phone was going to be done when I saw him pass.
It's not the best. I bought it in 2 pieces having taken my Yozza system off, and if i'd have thought about it before hand i should have chopped an inch or two out at the joint. Be reet though!
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Somewhere between Brands hatch and my house the regulator in my brand new alternator packed up, causing it to charge my battery at 18v. Result was one boiling battery which started leaking and smelling awful.
Anyway, good service to be fair, I sent the unit...
Re: artic blue owners (182)
195/50/15. Some on here running 15's use 205/50/15, fill the arches that bit better. Drives better than the standard cup 16's.
Fitted my replacement alternator to the Mk1 this afternoon after the last one gave up, and though I'd give it a wash and a quick polishing effort afterwards. It'd done 600 miles to Brands and back so the front end was caked in bugs
Also gave my 182 the same treatment while I was at it...
Ah, finally! Do you work in Lincoln then? Kept meaning to put a post up but only just got round to it.
I'll get Daz to add your name onto the local PM list if you're up for a meet every now and then?
Where's the cheapest youve found the KW's Dan? The V2's are they, adjustable ones?
What parts are you running 172 and what stayed valver in the end?
My hubs got -4mm grinder treatment and shock holes got +1mm pillar drill treatment.
