Fitted my replacement alternator to the Mk1 this afternoon after the last one gave up, and though I'd give it a wash and a quick polishing effort afterwards. It'd done 600 miles to Brands and back so the front end was caked in bugs :evil:

Also gave my 182 the same treatment while I was at it

mk1 looks so much better, mk2 looks like a puppy in comparison

get a scoop from tweeks for the cold air feed, have to cut them down a little to fit but noting major

Theres nothing wrong with my air feed - 4 cable ties into place, perfect!!

It's not the best. I bought it in 2 pieces having taken my Yozza system off, and if i'd have thought about it before hand i should have chopped an inch or two out at the joint. Be reet though!
