Anyone tried the Vics quick detailer? Was easy enough to use and left a decent finish, but the panel didnt feel slick once finished. Panel was clean and smooth, but just didnt feel as nice as others I use

How long since the coating was applied? I've read that they can get gummed up as such and can benefit from a good APC wash and light clay or decontamination

This week our cars have had a really fine dust, has killed beading until it rained today and washed it all off and was fine

When was it last washed, how dirty, dusty was the panel? isnt finest an approved detailer only product?

Friend has just bought a 330d looking identical to this, should have it Saturday. Some people have too much money on their hands. Have offered him in the past access to all my detailing kit, he knows how to safely wash it but yet still chooses a weekly trip to the local gangster smuggling...

This is generally to blame, plus dirty applicators and cloths

Very similar I beleive, but I think that tough coat may be a little less fussy about what you put it over but haven't tried the werkstatt kit enough to be sure

Britemax blackmax is a cleanser and glaze with a very mild cut. Can be used by hand or machine and leaves a great finish.use that after some proper decontamination and top with your preferred wax or sealant.

I'll re phrase it If you're ham fisted, taking the bumpstrip off might help although there are still no clips hidden or more accessible with it removed.

You don't need to remove the bumpstrips to remove the bullets. gently lift out the bullet from the bottom and you will spot the little tags that locate into the door. unclip these, can't remember of there are 3 or 4 in total.

I sealed a couple of resprayed panels after 1week and was fine. sprayed on the 17th I should hope its down all it neds to by now.
