Any one know this car: RY04 YEE Silver 182 on ITB's & Omex

Hahaha it's not cable tied anymore - it's in a big rubber/metal/c-clip type thing - on the side of the block haha

Any one know this car: RY04 YEE Silver 182 on ITB's & Omex

It's fecking awful - the injector part of it is about 2ft too long :( I'm ordering a new loom from Omex this winter. I'll make a youtube video of me burning the old one lol

And the Omex/ITB's are now in my car ;)

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah by the time I've bought stiffer springs for KWs and had them revalved they work out more than AST's lol
  5. Cup_Phil

PEOPLE with H&R coilovers please advise, secondhand purchase, parts missing...

Yeah :( If the bottom of the spring is the same size as other kits - which it will be because it's the same size as standard springs - you could buy the adjustors out of any other kit. Not sure anyone sells them seperately though :(

A lot of people just fit the rear spring without the adjustable platform for extra lows

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Ohhhhhh I didn't realise they were off Dan's car Sweet - deal done as far as I'm concerned then :D :D
  8. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah it's gonna work out at about £120 more than going with KW/Spax - but that's more than worth it just because I won't have to swap again Can just send them off end of the year for a rebuild :D
  9. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Hahaha did you guys sell them just because they were the wrong fitment?
  10. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Ideally I'd love the AST's - the stiffer springs is just a big advantage over the kw/spax/etc.. If I can buy some hubs for £40, whack them on and pick Lewis's coilovers up i'll be a happy bunny :)
  11. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah but if I can get the hubs for virtually nothing and it would allow me to fit Lewis's AST's without changing shafts/bottom arms/track rod ends - worth doing surely?

lol I'm turning to drink lol

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Crap that must mean the driveshafts are bigger on the end too then - so I'd need 182 driveshafts :(

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

It's probably being trailered to Adenau an then driven around europe. I'm not too fussed if it's quite harsh, both my old 106's ran Group N Bilsteins. I'd rather have a slightly harder ride when I go out at weekends playing than a ride that's too soft on track lol

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I've sent Josh a message asking about the price of new, I can't see it being much less than £1,300 at best though From what I've read/been told the 182 cup hubs go straight on with the 172 cup driveshafts and track rod ends. I found that a bit difficult to believe as if they sit further out I...

    Argghhhhhh shhhhhhh lol
  17. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I'll ignore that nonsense then - I did think when they said they were 1.5mm too narrow that I'm 90% sure my bilsteins flexed more than that lol Ok current winner for me I think is spax, you get adjustable damping in both directions, full coilover rears etc.. I'm gonna have a bit of a weekend...
  18. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah it would be a very good thing as I need 20mm spacers on the front at the moment on the ET43 offset 2118's If they're wider that would save me some money on spacers and I can just put some 15m blocks of steel behind the rear hubs - job done Head's literally gonna explode lol
  19. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Argghhhh seriously guys? Are there any cons to fitting 182 hubs? I don't need the abs ring/sensor as obviously 172 cup doesn't have ABS Does it change offset or do anything daft like that I think my heads gonna explode lol
  20. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Oh right Lewis seemed to think the height adjustors were seized and they needed spanners to adjust?
  21. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

:) Arrghhh it makes Lewis's AST's sound really tempting but £900 + new spanners + freeing them up so I can corner weight it + 182 hubs ... :(
  22. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

    I've got a whiteline ARB :)
  23. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I've read about 4 people now though that have said they don't fit Cups as they're 2mm too narrow to fit the hub and have to go back to be fixed. I might just leave it on standard suspension at this rate lol I did the nurburgring on standard dampers and eibach pro springs - was probably the...
  24. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I really really really can't lol They drove me literally insane for the last year. Lovely on the road and for a quick blast - but as soon as I fitted the cage and added 40kg over the rear the back was way way way too soft. I've already sold the bilsteins anyway so that's just not an option...
  25. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I have bilsteins currently - but with absolutely no adjustment at all other than height they've really frustrated me on track this last year. The car has been really understeery and everyone I've taken out has said "stiffen the back up" to which I've had to reply "I can't" :(
  26. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Thanks mate - I really appreciate the reply ( you should try sleeping though lol ) I'm so conflicted. Unfortunately it's not a case of "waiting a few more months" and having more money, because of the big euro road trip next year, and Leah still being at Uni, and I still need to pay for...
  27. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah I think that's probably the clincher I spent £940 on the bilsteins and got £350 back - so I've lost £600 on suspension that's done 2,000 miles lol 30p a mile *sigh* Dan - do you happen to know the spring rates on the spax stuff? Is it 60/40nm like the KW's and bilsteins?
  28. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

Yeah I'm think it sounds like AST are recommended - but need £1400-1600 for a set If I can get these 3 month old KW V2's for £800 I should be able to sell them again in a year without a huge loss and go AST's when the budget allows. It sounds like swapping the front springs from the 60nm setup...
  29. Cup_Phil

    Track day suspension (KW V2s?)

I'm now sat up late at night reading the reviews of people with the Spax setup - thinking they look pretty good Damping and compression adjustment, £840 brand new, full coilover rears.... hrmmmm
