As said have a go yourself, then you'll have the bits come next time.
Or, should at i4detailing and get sample pots of britemax blackmax and extreme elements glaze and sealant, will be enough to do a full car once I'd have thought, I know the sealant was. That way you'll have more money to...
Can work well via DA, I struggle to get it working nicely with rotary though. Think dawn got good results with it on her flamer. Check out her recent thread in media.
I've got to the point where I prefer to use cleansers via machine than actually correct because I'm lazy and do.t like doing it
Winter prep'd our Focus today using AF tripple and tough coat. Haven't used these all summer and I'd forgotten how nice and simply they are to use, and I used so little I couldn't resist putting on a 2nd coat. Really pleased with the finish, gave the blue a really nice deep glossy finish. feels...
the autobrite deal, where you can buy additional snow foam, either magnifoam and super snow foam or something like that?
If so I used that group buy and pretty pleased, couldn't find anything cheaper. the lances are all pretty much the same but the snow foam seem to be as good as SF gets. I'd...
you have a lovely way of putting things, no wonder admin decided to slap those wrists. :rasp:
if you have a spare 250ml/ 500ml/ 1l bottle I'll buy some off you?
Does it not come with a backing plate, as the 800 did, or are you referring to a spot pad? I just got the standard CYC ones that looked a little similar to the 3m range

I don't particularly have a favourite but a few thoughts updated above
tripple:

it's an all in one that does a great job of lifting dirt and cleaning, does a good job of filling and hiding swirls then lays down a little of its own protection. If you're not into full...
no offence taken, just wanted to make sure I wasn't falling into bad habits.
In theory, what you say is correct. if you can remove as much of the contaminants then there should be any to move around the panel when you actually come to wash, but I've never managed to remove enough dirt from...
isn't actuator flutter and compressor surge two different things?
every turbocharged car will get actuator flutter noise, it's just typically not likely to be heard. I've noticed it once or twice in my Golf TDi on cold quiet nights.
Compressor surge I thought of as described above as the boost...
lime prime and OC looked great, the oily nature really worked well, but durability was 3months and needing re application. Vics collectors worked nicely but shorter durability. AF tripple really brought out the colour, then topped with a good carnuba wax was my favourite, but I started using...
the colour charging does die off long before the wax. I used orange crush for a while on my LY and initially the finish was lovely, the colour charging made a difference. I preferred the finish to the highly rated Vics concours. Lasted approx 3months before beading and sheeting died off...
the difference being you are lifting dirt from the bodywork, therefore collecting it in the wash media and moving it across the panel until you rinse it.
if you look at the mits after you will see that the lambswool will have dirt starting to work its way up the threads in-bedding themselves...
Completely agree but still people think SF works wonders and I just don't see it. There has been only a couple of reviews on avalanche and pretty mixed. Compared to other snow foams it seems fine, compared to citrus power I have my doubts at the moment.
agreed also, works well with a dusty car...
I lol when I saw the post he got banned for, seems he was getting more and more angry the older he got! Thought he was going to be selling off samples of avalanche as he got 5l. I'm Curious to know how similar it is to CP, but must admit although you can use CP through a lance it still doesn't...
It really depends on what you expect it to do and when you plan to use it.
for example, got stuck on site and the car was covered in mud. snow foamed one half and used AF citrus power the other half, then pressure washed off. after a few minutes the side with CP the mud was falling off. the...
not sure on the rainforest rub as I found orange crush to last about 3months.
Have you got a QD for top ups? maybe look into one that adds a little of it's own protection to extend the durability
What shampoo do you use? could be that its not lubricating enough. MF wash not aren't the best, lambswool is preferred but shouldn't be too bad. try and new mit and an extra little shampoo next time. DO you use two bucket method and grit guards?
chamois is probably causing a lot of damage, as...
playing with BTBM I found I was using an aweful lot more per bucket to get the similar slick feel, but the increases concentration started to make it quite sudsy.
the bulk buy lather works out to be £7 per litre which is only rivalled by hyper wash and cleanmax. but I'm never going to get...
What to try next or stick to what I know. Car shampoos.
Was going to buy 5l of af lather but fancy something new. Wasn't wowed by btbm, liked gwash. Like the britemax shampoo too. Any other big hitters, z7 is all I can see I'm missing but don't hear too much about it
Ps, anyone interested in a...
