Both Cups & 172s are literally just thrown together and neither one is built better than the other!
Cup seats are basically the same, but covered in grey cloth rather than leather & alcantara...
Depends on the dealer you take it to mate, its very difficult to give a price!

Did a trackday in my Cup on Saturday, it was p!ssing it down with rain, loads of standing water and by the end of the day the tyres were getting quite worn, buthad no probs stopping without ABS, even from around 100mph...

Was very wet though and the standard Contis were performing mailto:cr@p">cr@p (as expected), but the other Cup was running Avon ZV1s which he said were great and he had plenty of grip.
Need to get these Contis wrecked on mine and...
Yeah, nobody thinks Im quite as old as I am and Ive just kinda stayed looking the same for the past few years (Peter Pan stylee), which is gonna be a good thing in a few years time when Im really old but dont look it! ;)

Hes now said I can have it cheap (hed just lose it anyway), weather report is good for tomorrow and my mate has a spare set of wheels & tyres I can use on the Cup, so it would be rude not to go!!! :devilish:
A couple of my mates (one has a Group A Escort Cossie rally car, the other has a Nissan 350z) are meant to be going to a trackday at Elvington (near York) tomorrow, but now the lad with the 350z has had to drop out! :sick:
He cant get a refund or swap to a different date as its on tomorrow...
Group N is basically the production car class where they take a showroom spec car and do basic mods to it in order for it to be able to compete, but not much is altered...
Its other classes like Group A, Group B and WRC that are "full blown" cars!
You cant really compare an R-Sport ECU to a Dastek, as they are different things...
The R-Sport is a bit like a Superchip, just another set of parameters for the engine to use in order to improve performance.
Wheras the Dastek is a piggy back unit that basically allows you to setup the car...
