R-Sport or Hill Power...

Well, chris n nic had his Superchipped and it only gave him a 3bhp gain, so he had it removed and now runs the R-Sport ECU. His car runs the 1/4 mile in 14.1secs @ 98mph now! ;)

Theres more torque from a forced induction engine, so for 250bhp, youd be not so far behind the same value in lfb/ft!!!

I was gonna get the RR operator to try this with mine on Saturday and see if it makes any difference at all... Do a stage 1 then stage 2 (with click) run and see if the power/torque curves are different. That will settle it once & for all. ;)

Also, is there, or will there be a normal de-cat available for the Cup or mk2 172???

Would like to see what your @ wheels figure was from PE. As for the Northampton one, the give you a 17% loss which is a little high, but not as OTT as some Ive seen which are way out. Keeping that loss as a constant, means you would have 139bhp @ wheels from PE. I reckon a spot on...

AS has already been said, there will be a few of us going on the rollers this Saturday, so we should have a load of actual figures soon. Its not 172bhp as we know it though, its 172ps or bhp/DIN which equates to ~169bhp in what we in the UK call "bhp" and should be about 143bhp @ wheels...
