Cheers John, just what I was looking for :). Would you extend the current air feed or start a fresh?
Also would i notice any difference at all in replacing the OE filter with a K&N (as an example) panel filter? Dont mean the induction kit.
So it does nothing but silence the intake noise? So if i was to take it out i would get more noise, correct?
And to keep the warm air intake down the best thing to do would be to extend the cold air feed along to the back of the filter?
I had a few problems putting the code into my ph1.
I used the wheel controls. When you have scrolled along and entered the 4 digits, you have to scroll forward again, back onto the first number and then press to confirm. It didnt work when i tried to confirm whilst the fourth digit was...
I'll try again, a wee bit more confused now! :o
Whats what here then?!
The filter is in part 'Y', can just see the orange edge of it. What does the airbox/part 'x' achieve? Dont know whats inside as they dont open.
I was assuming the part which contained the filter was the airbox, maybe not. Is there another filter in this too then?
Doesnt look like it can be opened.
Apolgies for asking what probably is a very obvious question, but I'm not sure...
The part labelled with the red X in the picture below, what is it and what does it do?! I'm aware that the panel filter is in the part behind it, just lost as to what this does?! :clown:
2001 1.4 16v if it...
I put a quote into elephant out of interest the other day, 18 with 12 months driving experience and zero NCB. Mum on as a named driver too.
Came to £2600 i think. Ph1 172 if that makes a difference.
Yes, direct fit but the wiring needs to be changed slightly...
Fubar's site gives a perfect example of what needs to be done: http://www.fubarnet.com/clusters.html
There is next to no weight in carrying an MX bike about, so if you can find a way of getting it fitted then I dont see why not?
Ignore me though as I'm more than likely wrong!
The plan is to get my own policy when I've been driving for a year, which will be at the start of May.
Its annoying how much cheaper insurance is for girls.
Anyone else know about the cost of cancelling a policy??
Right gents, I've got a plan!
I was browsing for various insurance quotes earlier, and it became apparent how much premiums drop once Ive had 1 years driving experience. I did a quote with elephant for how things stand now, 11 months driving, and it came to something silly like £2500...
