Righto chaps....anyone fancy this?
I made the trip to London a couple of years ago just for photography, had a pretty good time doing it.
I propose something like this....
Meet somewhere in the afternoon, like 2-3pm or so.......then snap away.....
Get some grub somewhere in the evening...
Well I've finally wiped the dust off my camera and got out there! Just a very quick shoot with a mate, of his pride and joy.
We happened to stumble on this location, bit generic, but it was the best we could do just scouting about. Only had just over an hour too, so a bit rushed...
So my Mum's iPad has just developed a black screen. It still works, you can unlock it if you swipe in the right area, but the screen is constantly black.
She says she has no idea how it happened, which I'm a little suspect of.
I bought it from Currys December 2010, so if they have a years...
Just a heads up that this starts today.
Free Coldplay songs and videos available now.
Hopefully some good games/apps up for grabs in the coming days too.
As title really. I bought my Mum an iPad last xmas, to be surprise she can work the thing, to such an extent she wants to start printing things from it. I know of this AirPrint thing, I assume you just get a compatible printer, plug it in to a power source....then just print from the iPad all...
My Mum's pestering me already for xmas ideas....and I haven't got a clue. Although I wouldn't mind upgrading my current head unit which is only a simple CD player, not even an MP3 one!
I'm after something good, no cheap s**t please. £200 max really.
iPod compatibility is a must, USB is a bonus...
Ok so I'm loving my new iPhone so far, especially the camera! So much so that I will take it with me on all my trips abroad (Not roaming though!!)
My dilemma is this.....
My iMac is the main 'home' for the phone, that's where I sync it with apps/photos/videos etc.
But I travel with my...
Hi chaps,
I've uploaded a file to my site via FTP, that's the easy bit. Now how to I get the link so I other people can download that file?
So in my root directory, I have a folder called 'Files', now if I upload a zip file in there, would the download link not be...
Taken from my blog ;)
This was taken just before the incident. The saxo came across on Tony (as he was on the grass we think) and hit Tony TWICE, then spinning off. Sadly all out of view from me :(
Wait for the video, it's pretty scary how bad this could have been!
Note the smoke :(...
Shot another wedding yesterday......I keep saying I'd never do it again as I get so freaking nervous and worked up lol!
As always, I went to the brides house early, and messed about with (probably) my favourite lens, the Sigma 85mm 1.4.
Got narrow DoF!? ;)
(I was also asked to take a few...
Another race meeting, with a surprising result. Silverstone, as many of you know, is a power circuit. Not good for Clios up against those mighty Hondas.
You'll have to wait for Jay's race report and videos, but here's a few photos for now :)
All I'll say.......3rd in class! (Class A)...
I'm after a bit of advice on these. I know it's not a Clio, but I know all the pros hangout here ;)
This is what they look like:
Can I fix these with the normal procedure? Wet sand followed by a damn good polish?
I've been told these have some sort of UV coating on them (which I think is...
Back here in Tel Aviv, really like it here, great city!
Last day tomorrow, but off to Jerusalem tomorrow evening. Then for a very rare treat, a day off! So I should get quite a few photos from then.
Enjoy :)
At long last, I finally have time at work to start some photography projects I've been asked to do. Mainly some promotional posters for around the building, and a few others for brochure use etc.
I started with some normal product shots, nothing too special. I'm still learning, so it takes...
I'll try to make this short, not easy though!
At the end of June, I came back from Peru, got to my car at Heathrow airport and it wouldn't start. After A LOT of dicking about, it was concluded it's almost certain to be an immobiliser problem.
Thinking it would be a simple fix, I took the car...
Firstly, apologies. I didn't take as many photos as I should have, mainly as I was chatting to loads of new folks most of the time, and I was struggling for inspiration too!
Also.....there's only so much you can do with a load of parked cars, so don't expect much. My pics will be just the...
Howdy peeps,
Just a note to say, of course I'll try to photograph everyones car and take lovely photos ;), but feel free to come up and ask for specific shots, or just to make sure I haven't missed your car either!
As it's a long day, I was contemplating bringing the rig up, and just push...
I only took a few pics, so if your car isn't there....sorry.

Before the rain!
Seems there's quite a few folk around this area, and maybe others you would travel a bit to get there (myself included).
How about we get together sometime for a meet? So instead of a car meet where everyone just parks up with their bonnet open, we could do the same and be geeky over each...
Howdy chaps,
Need a bit of feedback about my business card design. I'm going to really push my studio portrait photography, get loads of experience etc.....but I'll need some cards!
I came up with this, it sticks to my website design philosophy....clean and simple.
(Phone number...
To cut a long story short, my car is currently at the garage after it wouldn't start when I got back to Heathrow car park.
I initially thought it was a flat battery, but it infact the immobiliser. After trying all sorts to reset it, it's still knackered.
The garage has just told me it's...
Howdy,
A few things have been bugging me about my current website, mainly the loading times. Despite re-sizing and saving all the images at a lower quality, it still takes too long to load.
So I've managed to install a second wordpress theme inline with my current.
The new site is...
I've never been a massive fan of Flickr. Lot's of amazing photos, but lots of crap on there too.
Just discovered a site for photographers called 500PX.
Visit here: http://500px.com/
It's similar to Flickr, but people only upload their best, so the standard is much higher.
I recommend...
Currently sat bored in the hotel waiting to be picked up to head out to dinner....thought I'd share a few snaps from today.
These are literally quick snaps, the guy looking after me here kindly drove me to a few spots before dropping me off at the hotel.
These guys would...
Yesterday was my forth wedding, so I'm not the most experienced, but you've got to start somewhere!
The weather was up and down throughout the day. It started amazingly well, blue sky and sun. Then as the ceremony started, it pissed it down. Then stopped as it finished (literally). Then...
One thing I have always been crap at is charging people. I don't do it often, mainly because I'm not confident enough in my photography to actually charge people.
So it's the ago old question.......how much do I charge?
I know this depends on a number of different things, like what they...
I've always wanted to have a go at this, but having a decent place to do it is a must. I tried to set up a pikey studio in my room, but it wasn't practical at all.
Luckily, when the company where I worked moved to a new building, there was a studio. I persuaded them to keep it (they wanted...
My first proper time lapse video.
When I get home I'll finish my blog post about it, with the set-up etc

Pretty lucky I got a good sunset for once, so very happy with it.
I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm debating getting a Mac to replace my worn out PC, mainly for photography use etc.....not much (if any) gaming.
I'm torn between choosing a 27" iMac or a Mac Pro.
If I got an iMac, it would be the i7 processor. I would upgrade the other parts myself as it's...
