i connected my foot-well lights + to the red and the - to the white....
now only the foot-well lights come on when the car is unlocked.
How do i wire it so the foot-well and courtesy lights all come on?
i tried a few combinations and...
radio.... hmmm id like to know as well....
as for airbag light, turn car off. under passenger seat and drivers side, wiggle cables about and connectors. i find 1 single wire on my clio causes the airbag light to come on and its a black (ground) i think. different setups have different variation...
i have wired foot-well lights.
i put the wiring into the above courtesy light. positive into the red wire and negative into the white.
now i have an unusual thing happening and just wanted some feedback from you guys.
basically, when the car is unlocked the footwell lights go on but not the...
im going to upload a photo on here of it later, but i believe i have found the bulb on maplins....
http://www.maplin.co.uk/wire-terminal-type-1955
surely i would be able to wire a resistor in there and attach a blue led tho. lol?
give these guys a call, tell them the radio model number and everything and they will tell you the exact stalk you need mate. i hunted endlessly for a correct stalk adapter for my pioneer, turned out one phone call did the job.
unfortunately i sent about 4 different adapters back because they...
Ok, so i managed to rip open the headlight adjuster only to find an orange plastic. i figured try removing it, surely would get a white light. didnt really work. Ideally i want this to be blue, so what bulb am i needing and also, do i need to get that orange plastic changed as well?
to top it...

Re: Urgent help needed removing sterling wheel.
mmm, could be tracking yer. when i removed my 2 rear shocks after have steering wheel off for soooo long, turned out that 1 of the shocks was diff from the other and also, the 1 was shot, but not to the normal extent of bounce, was a bit weird...
Re: Urgent help needed removing sterling wheel.
in that case, i would look at ur rear suspension and shocks if your steering wheels out. last time mine was off like that, i found out the hard way, slid off a roundabout took the front subframes out, 2 tires, and complete arm. lol.
sounds like my weekend is booked then, lol.
should i wire the positive connection to the red wire and the negative one to the black wire? am i right in think that the white one is for the little map light positive?
knowing me il cut the wrong bloody wire lol
if it looks like this:
then that is wrong.
i think you need one of the above for the courtesy light near sunroof tho.
the ones you need are about 4mm by 1.5cm or there abouts
its because when the belt is behind it, someone gets in and yanks the belt, then snap. my mate did it also and didnt even realize. that plastic bit will be in a car park in birmingham somewhere lol. tis why i wanna just remove them altogether.
does anyone know how to remove the upper rear seats? i got as far as a bolt in the middle ish, but that was it. the seats were not coming out...
i figure if i can get the seats out, i cant unzip them, get to that plastic and saw it off or something......
its a bit wacky and out there, but do you still have original front speakers? if you do, unplug one of them then see if it can plug into that. odly looks very much like a speaker adaper. how you would end up with 3 in the front god only knows lollol. unless someone did some retro re-wiring ...
i used vanish on mine once, although i think the general consensus is not to do it as the fibres in the belt can be destroyed or frayed = risk in an accident. but then when you think about it, in some accidents people survive who dont wear them! lmao.
when i used upholstery cleaner, i just...
