I have the proline kit on my cup as well, good bit of kit. however 300 for your insurance is a bit steep for springs?

I have the prolines on my cup, which seem to handle well and the ride quality seems a lot better than the cheap springs I had on my old 172. However I would have liked it to be lower than it is sitting on them. what are you going to be using the car for, and are you more intrested in looks or...

Well as sad as I am mine first renaultsport has gone today :( however it has now been replaced by a blue 172 cup. Feels brilliant to drive and love the colour. Anyway only got one picture so far will take more tomorrow.

I maybe wrong but I am sure that seller used to sell toyo sport exhausts which didnt fit that well. as said above if its cheap enough then go for it!

Well Im looking at a mint 172 cup tomorrow 35k from new so might be a different clio to show you. Lucky I have been lazy so havent fitted the engine bits yet, so will go on that if I get it. Plus I really need tips on getting it as shiny as yours! p.s might not bring the little one in the car...

Looks really good, i like the exshaust tips. Think they look odd without them from factory. Think I will have to buy something else off you for another excuse to come have a look at the 197

I think my 172 is cheap to run and maintain, doesnt do much less MPG to the other halfs 1.3 yaris and is cheaper to service and fix!!

^^^ exactly this. It has to be fit for purpose and last a resonable amount of time depending on what it is. And being a gearbox it is mean to last a longer time than that, plus its a known fault.

went to look at this today and was very dodgy. firstly the bloke said he was a friend of the bloke selling it and it was parked on the grass verge at his work for him. i asked him about the service history as it has been advertised as fsh. I had the first stamp in 06, then one end of 08 then...

They are coming down in price a fair bit now. However at that price I doubt the belts have been done so add 500 for that.

Got a halfords 150 set and it seem good enough, plus has a good selection of bits. They were doing them half price but not sure if the deal is still on

Im 25 but my freinds mum has a 182 and must be in her early 50's. as for insurance i was very shocked earlier when I got a quote for a 197 from my insurance which was £200 cheaper than my 172!
