RMS is the output of the amp @ a certain ohm load(speaker)
usually something like this (2 channel amp example)
2x 50w @ 4 ohms
2x 85w @ 2 ohms
1x175w @ 4 ohms (bridged)
as long as your comps are 4 ohms you will be fine bridging them off a 4 channel
and the sub amp power output should be...
lol they are all guru's on there they know what they are talking about it's just sometimes they don't realise the person asking the doesn't understand the answer
yeah i thought i break my box with the two 400wRMS subs in it giving them 600 each from a 1000/1
but it drops low and it also is tight with it aswell probably due to the amp having a fairly high damping factor for a class d
the main reason to have seperate boxes is if one fails it will probably take the other one with it due to one sub being the box made for two.
myself have build a box with two subs in and i don't think it is any different to two seperate boxes
just remember if your light dim the voltage is dropping
so your amps are not putting out full power and could lead to clipping if it drops low enough
which will kill your speakers.
unless your amps have regulated power supplies;)
right firstly a split charge system will also put an extra load on the electrical system of the car as it has to charge two batteries instead of one.
next the earth that goes from the chassis to the batt is really dire at least upgrade this if don't want to attempt all three
next of all batts...
