the preamp equalizer is only really needed if you got a truly mad sq setup. i dont know what an active crossover is, so i cant help you on that:cry:

yeah that is right. the amp will only come on when there is 12v on the remote.

a mechanic told you your amp was wired wrong:confused: yeah thats probably the only way to be really sure:cry:

yeah you definatly need a fuse same size or slighty bigger than the one on the amp

its personal preference but 80Hz is usually a good starting point

yeah my 1.6 is classed as a group 10. you get quiet a bit of kit as standard (air con, alarm etc)but i wish i had gone for xenons as an extra :cry:

im going to put an amp under a false floor i think it should be ok is any part of it showing??? if the heatsink is it will be fine

the power cap has got to get its power for some where?? imagine a piece of music with 6 bass beat in quick sucsession, the cap will supply power on the first beat but take away power on the other 5 due to the fact the cap has a lower internal resistance.

sounds like something is wrong there cos it would take about 15mins to kill a 45Ah battery?

im guessing that some 4 gauge wiring will be fine at a rough guess the maximum draw for those amps will be about 90A. thaen just get some rca spliters and just put a link from amp 1 to amp 2 for the remote
