id say the starter motor would pull about 100A.
so it must only be what it takes to close the relay that goes through the barrel which it probably 1A Max.
surely the start part is only a switch in the barrel, so the relay should be in parallel with that. which would make it able to use the...
i wouldnt have thought that the power of the starter motor would go through the ignition barrel.
to be honest it sounds like you have not wired it correctly if you cannot start it with the key IMO
if it is 4 gauge cable for the positive then that would be fine for both amps.
with the remote you should be able to take it to the first amp then put a link in to the second.

yeah just get something like http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=30444&TabID=1&source=15&WorldID=1&doy=9m1this
put it as close to the batt as poss and only put the same size fuse in it as in the back of the hu
bloody electricians everywhere:D
there probably is one you can get to plug strait in to the cig lighter (post posted below) but that was the first one on google

does it run of 12v??
and you need something to convert 24v to 12v?
if so try http://www.m-99.co.uk/Electrical/24V_to_12V_Stepdown_Converter/24v_to_12v_stepdown_converter.htmlthis

its due too the higher output of the internal amp.
if the stock wiring is capable of doing 15A (i think thats whats in the 9835) then you may not have too.
p.s nice choice:D
cool
i modded my glovebox light the other month. Managed to squeeze 10 5mm white leds in there(bit of a bugger cos they are two slightly different colours:cry:)
you could do but you may have to put a voice coil per channel (which is never a good idea)
it also means you will not get the full power out of the amp
just did a bit of research and that legacy is a f**king joke it only does 2x 85wRMS at 2 ohms
[Edited by Dink on 1/8/2005 1:33:59 PM]...
i cant see any problem with doing that apart from it will sound like sticking your head in a metal oil drum and beating the side with a lump hammer with cotton wool shoved in your ears.
osram silver stars:)
£39 for both dipped and main + free blue vision side lights:D
