Has anyone considered making another hole in the standard airbox and attached a 60-70mm flexible hose to get more air into the standard box? Could be a cheaper alternative to a sealed induction. Worked well on a Fiat coupe turbo, but then that was forced induction if that makes a difference.

Brakes on 172 are from laguna as well. As tested by Autocar the breaks are very good braking from 100-0 in under 5 seconds beating a porsche 911 turbo!!
