Ok, never really cared for paintwork, but following this incident.http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=383369 I thought as i have new paint to work on i should do my utmost for it.
So i waited over a month for the new paint to cure properly, then went and got some 3 step meg stuff...
Yes, if they are amped. Definatly come with my recommendation. A mate of mine has a fiesta, he didnt want anything to look different to standard, so i got these and they sound mint!
Ok, well get 2 sets of what i linked to then! If you intend to amp them that is....

Yeh i'd just risk it. I unplugged both seats, desoldered 2 pre tenny's and removed airbag ecu all with battery connected. :P But mind that airbag, they will hurt if triggered!
Hmmm. From recollection they are in the middle fo the door, yeh?
If so getting a pair of these and amping them would be ok, but as above, mounting the tweeter on A-pillars would be much better! For a rich and livly sound stage.
Obviously co-ax's are the easiest. But can sound strange with the...
When you say attached to it... do you mean co axials... if so what civic do you have? As co axials can blur sound staging, as i wouldnt be too specific about brand, until you have perfected the layout of where the speakers are going. Best tog et a good set of components and place the tweeters in...

SPL was meant earlier refering to spl dynamics not to SPL in general. Those are the 6.5 (17cm) SPL Dyanmics SD's. Very good value for money imo!!!!!!
Wattage is proportional to current drawn through it for a given ohmage.
A decent HU wil push out about 18w rms. Into a 4 ohm load will give 2.12 amps. At 8.5 volts. I very much doubt this rms figure is met, yet the standard white cabling you're on about will more than suffice the load of that...
Wouldn't worry about wiring unless your using 32gauge and your putting 100watts into them . If they're running of a headunit, not amped. Then your taking no difference from thin stuff to 8guage....
If new plugs fixed it, there possibly getting sotted??? Pop on out i bet its black with that dutty charcoaly stuff on it. I'm no mech but i could tell you that!
Mixture? Possibly a sensor thrown a paddy so ECU flooding the tits of it after 5k?
Yeh names Agi on TA. I run a pair of caliber amps (CA 100 and CA 440) on an active setup into some SPL dynamics HF's. Trust me they keep up with the sub, when the subs on 5 on HU sub control.
No. It's plywood. Take the piss... i don't care? MDF = medium density fibrebaord... as used on previous installs. Old install
MDF is typically the chosen wood for sub boxes, as it's cheap yet versatile and strong. Plywood is better as it's slightly lighter, but subject to less box flex if braced...
Currently : Ascendant audio - mayhem
In 4.1cu ft box (after displacements), tuned to 28hz. Running of a powerbass xa3000d 3KW RMS into the 1ohm load it sees. Pushing well towards 145db!
It's a sexy boy!
The buckle was twisted, and it looks as thouhg someone had flipped the belt to cover this up. Put the retaining bracket at the bottom of the belt through 360 degree's.
So round went the buckle, and i flipped the belt retainer.
Tadda fixed!
Lol, your right about the women!
I would just turn it around, but you cant can you? Surely it has to be round the only way that looks correct??? I'm going to try and swap it now, see what i find.
My one rear seatbelt is around the incorrect way.I'm bloody sure it is. Is this possible? Can you put the rear left seatbelt onto the right side? As it has just a single 180degree twist in it. Do they fit one to the other as in left will fit right and right fit left?
Well fone me then you mad head! lol!
As for the wiring... does look good. Spill the beans as to what else you are gonna be running it with??? As for 8guage wiring as speaker cable so subs, yeh defo FTW!!!!
Hmmmmmm.

Couldn't recommend anything any more!
I have the older brother of these components, the HF's not the SD's but have installed SD's in 2 peoples clio's now, they suit the job lovely.
Both lads are on here...
When the pre tensioner went off on my rear bench this snapped. So if you find the part number can you post it up, so we can all go out and buy new ones :P.
I might beat you to the part number though :rasp:
