Thanks for that Symon, gonna get me one I think. How much do they charge to fit as I have no ramps and although I changed the exhaust on my Saxo with the car half on, half off the kerb it was a ball ache lol.

Well it's bass i'm after really, have a sub in the Saxo but don't want it in the Clio as it weighs a ton! I'm uprating the tweeters too so hopefully they will deal well with the highs!

There is such a wide range to choose from though. Pioneer, JBL, Vibe are ones I have seen. Any that I should take note of?

Ey up, I'm after some 17cm speakers for my 172. Budget is £70 - after a decent set of components to handle the 50w x 4 my Pioneer HU is chucking out. Also, how thick is the MDF I should get for the spacers/rings? Thanks :)

I agree with the op on this one. My mates Mk1 Golf Gti 1.8 8v with standard system sounds awesome. It's deep and not too raspy. Clio / 106 / Saxo exhaust clips I see sound really tinny and raspy! They don't make 'em like they used to! :p

I ordered a battery off an online battery shop, type 63. Opens the box, removed my old battery and went to put this new type 63 one in. It's too damn big it seems. They sent me a Varta 544 B18 44Ah and it's atleast 4 inches longer than the standard battery. It's the wrong one isn't it?

Controversial ^^ I think my old Saxo handles better than my 172. The 172 seems to roll a tad more but it sticks better than the Saxo due to the low profile tyres. Both handle very well!

I heard that if you decat the stealth actually gets deeper? How do silenced de-cats work compared to normal ones? How easy is it to chuck the cat on for MOT's and the like?? What impact do they have on the MPG? Anybody got a de-catted yozza stealth?

I like the sound of the Yozzasport stealth. Shame there does not seem to be many video clips of this exhaust! I could do with hearing a K-Tec on a standard 172 really. If I got it and hated it I would be devastated lol.

Know. It has all the services stamped and is sitting on decent mileage. This was done by the Renault dealership before the previous owner purchased the car!

Not raspy/throaty would do. I spend a lot of time at 60mph so not intrusive! Any exhausts I should be looking at? My mate has a Miltek on his but it's not raspy really.

I managed to get it working in the end. It was disabled in the menu system, cheers!
