Hahah seeing as someone bumped it ill stick a few more photos in.
The car was actually trailored off to wales last night to be mapped for the weekend. i took it for a small drive beforehand and was gobsmacked at the torque/power even on a crappy base map. It has heaps more "punch" than my old...
Do a compression check, things like TDC sensor, lambda faults e.t.c will cause general rough running, not a rhythmic missfire like you are experiencing. If its sparking and getting fuel, then you probably have a compression issue.
This is the problem with short ITB manifolds on the F7 engines. I had the same sort of problem, i ground away the back of the pump with an angle grinder, there is enough meat on the pump to do this without damageing its functionality.
Its either that, or buy a longer manifold, or grind your...
423's are silly wild and i think agreed even too wild for bazzons engine? 422's are the cam of choice for high comp forged bottom ends, they wouldnt suit standard compression well. 421's are the cam of choice for standard pistons.
Yes its the nature of the assembley. My jenvey airhorns came with normal M6 bolts, and some special anti vibration washers (not your normal sort). Im using threadlocked studs and nyloc nuts this time around.
I have one made out of 1.5mm polished stainless steel. Had it made for my mk1 F4R itb conversion. However with it fitted the coil pack fouls my bonnet. Not an issue at all on the mk2's. £20 posted, pm if interestd.
I paid £69 delivered for my pipercross C603D filter, the backplate i made, but you can get blank backplates from ebay or tweeks

ANd the backplate...
That was mine yeah. I could use that setup on an F7R, and thought i could use it on the F4R. However once id actually got it in the engine bay the engine angle way wrong and the trumpets fouled the bonnet so i had to changed from 90mm trumpets to 40mm.
Hi,
As above the updated crank sensor plug has a pink and pale yellow wire. which is positive, which is negative? Im trying to wire it into my standalone ecu loom but obviously want it the right way.
thanks!
Dangle172 on here will sort you out, hes done plenty of metal work for me.
Just knock him up a CAD drawing and he can water / laser cut, mill e.t.c out of pretty much whatever material you want, doesnt charge much either :)
Now i fall into this category.... ;)
I uprated mine :P I just need to find a way to hold the shield to the starter, will use stainless cable ties i think.
Looks wicked mate keep it up, i killed my last ITB engine in exactly the same way. 2 x m6 bolts rattled loose, down the inlet locked the engine up. mashed the piston and obliterated the bore and shattered the piston ring lol.
OK, so i wired my new crank sensor in, in the effort to get consistent error free trigger readings again (they most important sensor on the engine afterall). My soldering iron is so s**t making it impossible so i bought a new one, did the final bits of soldering and heatshrink'd it all up.
I...
