    I had to do it to get RPM to get the rev counter to work on my standalone ECU, got the tip from VEMS forum so i cant claim it either :P.

    around 180nM springs to mind, i wouldnt fuss too much, just do them as tight as you possibly can with a reasonable sized 1/2" wrench IMO.

    THey will have just set the ratio wrong, from an innacruate tacho. Happened to me. My car made peak power at 7950rpm aparently, when the red line on the ECU was set to 8000rpm, yet according to there print out it revved to 8500rpm! mmmm no.

    caution i used the string method and measured it perfectly, id go for a belt at least 1cm over what you actually measaure, as mine came too small for wahtever reason. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m28b0s2591p0 Belts can be had from there.

    Catcam 428's for a good idle, they are a bit tame though. Engine Dynamics / Shcrick / C&B, for more performance, but at the sacrifice of a slightly lumpier idle (why do so many people actually care about a lumpy idle??)

    LMAO @ bullets on crank sensor. When i did a lot of wiring on my car i wasnt very good at soldering, i did a lot of it with Heatseal Connectors, they are better made than bullets, and you seal the ends by heating with a lighter, so there is no "slopiness" when tugging. a reasonable sollution...
