Doubt it, need a house and a respray isn't cheap. I can't get a quick blow over with the paint from my mate like I did the Nissan as he's moved jobs. I'll have to live with it I guess.
Once again it's a case of photos making the paint look massively better than it is unfortunately. Full of wet sanding marks, deep swirls, stonechips etc.
Raised it up yesterday so I could actually get off the drive. It's not 100% level but TBH it was pissing me off cunting about with blocks of wood etc just to try and jack the b*****d thing up.
Decided to wash it and take some decent pictures today, washed it and then found the camera battery...
I sold them to another friend with a DC5, they were the white ones. Only 2 of yours live on, the other 2 got bent up when I smashed up the Nissan's rear suspension.
This set are the 18s.
I didn't have time, had to go help the second half of Team Gaz tear all the rear end off his S14a lol.
You're probably right Joey. Needs raising and levelling out anyway, all the hard stuff is done.
OEM bushes feel like polyurethane Malice?
I decided this morning I'd whip the coilovers on, before I had to go help a friend dismantle his car.
Didn't take many pictures, but here's one of the Teins from the rear (the fronts were just springs and shocks remember)...
And here's a nice...
Everybody says that, I didn't on the Nissan and got the nicest feeling brakes. Nice and firm, but you could feel what was happening so well. More assistance would have ruined it.
I presume you can't see the feck load of negative camber in the front on shot Rhys?! That's about -2 or so degrees.
All it needs is to close up to the tyres, haven't got a lot of clearance underneath to work with (same as the Nissan was), so by the time I've closed it up there's only about 2"...
So, it's my weekend again. I was meant to be on AET's dyno this morning to confirm the misfire is gone, however they had to cancel on me.
So, I decided to fit my HSD coilovers as they had arrived. Spent about an hour trying to get a front shock out, realised the suspension arms would have to...
A light dusting is fine. Had countless sets done like that and they've all been fine. No wobble, no getting hot and falling off (which a few people claim.) Better than your hub face corroding to s**t.
