Possibley the simplest question I've ever asked on here... is it just a case of undoing the 6/7 torx screws and lifting the cover or will I need to undo the jubilee clip on the hosing then remove the job lot to get to the filter?

ok so the clip on the engine cover of my new 172 is busted. The bit that you lift to get to the oil filler cap. anyone got a fix for it? or will i need a new one? can I just a get a new "flap" or will I need a whole new engine cover?

if there is a little LED by the gear stick does that meen a 172 is an import or not? alos, does it actually make that much difference if it is an import? insurance wise?!? any extra documents that would need filling in at all?!?

it has 23k miles on the clock, 4 previous owners, one of them being as a demo car, the last owner had it for 2 years and its an 02 reg? Looks totaly mint in the pics and I phoned the garage and they said that it's basically in brand new condition just seems a bit curious to me?!? Edit...
