Cheapest Williams Ive seen is £2400 and was written off. Damage not repaired either, so not MOT worthy. Cheapest MOT up together one would be around 3.5-4k I reckon.
I deal in secondhand parts, and would charge about £150 for the said items, in blue.
Bastid Paul.
Chavy - Thinking of outsiders mate. Anybody new looking in, thinking about joining. Ive been in this very situation with my own website and I certainly wouldnt want posts like this around.
Just trying to help things along a bit.

Picked up a rolling shell yesterday. Its like new. Not been used since it was new forom what I can tell. Needs alot of work, but I am going to turn it into a racer.
Firstly, its a LHD. I want to convert it to RHD - can anyone tell me if there are any differences in the loom?

The car will be getting a cage as well, so I spose you are correct. Pop rivieting a sheet maybe the answer..... Appearance isnt too important as its going to be a track car anyway. I was thinking mainly about the strangth of the thing rather that what it looks like.

Paul,
The problem is that the creased part is now weak. Any attempt to fill will result in the filler moving and cracking over time...
To be honest, I really do not know the best way of repairing it.
I have drawn up plans on how Im going to weld the roof up on the 16v Ive bought, but...

On average, what speed do you travel at on the motorway?
Having a chat about motorway speed limits last night, interested to see what everybodys nomral speed on the motorway was.
I usually travel at about 90mph on a journey.

Ah yes this ol chestnut....
I wanted a Williams. More so than that, I wanted one of the originals - rare, numbered cars light my fire you see. The differences have been highlighted here, altho the yarn about the original being basd on the clio cup is sales talk I think. All the chassis are...
