They are all much of a muchness, you just need to buy the best you can for your money.
ie. a mint 172 instead of a ropey 182 but depends what you're spending.
You need to find out about the cambelt and where it was done.
Miles are high but then is is 8-9 years old now so I suppose average.
If history is as complete as he says, the cambelt has been done properly and the car is in good condition, then £3250 would be the right money I'd say.
Give it a couple of years and the insurance will come right down and a mint BG 182 will come up.
Not many left now though, let alone two to three years time.
