Do you think £5000 is overpriced then? I get the feeling it would still sell for £4500 in 12 months. As knuckles said, they've been selling around that price for a good condition Trophy for a while now.

Just a quick one guys, Looking to buy a Trophy with 60,000 miles on the clock and is priced around £5000. I'm looking to keep the car 12 months and then will sell it on. I'll do in the region of 6000 miles maximum. As the title really, would I lose anything?

Is it lowered? And if so what springs? It sits really well and looks great. Makes me want to buy another one!!!

Refurbing the Sachs now with cornering force and I think Cooksport do it too isn't as expensive as BG. You won't lose alot of money if any on the Trophy either and you'll get the recaros, turinis etc that you want.

What exhaust you got mate?

Thanks Wick, 172 Cup and 182 money are almost the same now if I consider silver or BG. Think Daniels is sold pending payment now.

Prices are all over the place it seems at the minute. There are 52 plate cups up for £2500 and 05 plate 182's up for the same money.

Yeah it's annoying but at least once done properly, you'll be ok for 5 years/72k

Get it contact with one of the traders on here so it is all done properly.

Just read your last post, the belts need to be done by some one in the know. Might be worth getting them done again.

Not worth trusting the previous owner, call the garage and get a receipt. Will be easier to sell on with proof too.

Thanks Clart, can buy for £4800. The only thing I'm thinking is the belts will need doing in 2 years and the Sachs could be any day. Thinking I should wait for one that has just had both done recently.

I thought I was bad going from the Trophy to your 200 to the R26! On the look out for a 182 now just to catch you up! Any plans for the 200 or keep it as it is?
