It sounds like they don't insure non manufacturer approved modifications. So no Ktec etc (3rd party aftermarket mods) But something like a Ford approved Mountune modification they would. At least thats how I read it.

Any 'Sports' exhaust or backbox should give you extra noise. I cant comment on box size im afraid.

Try googling 'custom exhaust (your nearest large city/town)' in your local area. You may have someone closeby. It should be a relatively easy job for them for a catback system. Few hundred quid maybe. Alternatively, there must be a backbox you could buy from ebay for sub 100 quid just for noise.

Same here. My CL and Immob started playing up. Dongle from remotekey fixed it for me. I put it down to the transponder round the barrel but chose a dongle to avoid pairing issues with 2nd parts (if the transponder ring is actually paired. No idea.)

Chances are its the rears. Well known for unsettling how clios feel. Probably most motors lol. I changed my back 2 oem units and the difference is night and day. Manhole covers no longer force me to correct the car in the wet at 15mph....
