I had a charger pack replaced on my 182, xenon stopped working all done under warranty...
How old is your 172?
would this still be covered under warranty?
Rob.
Have you had yours laser tracked??
After owning mine for 6 months I had this done as mine seemed to be pulling all over the place turnes out that it was way out can only imagine it was like that from new, you should get it checked...
Rob.
A couple of cars prior to owning my 182 I had an AXGT it was a J plate 1991 I think?? it had only covered 18000 miles it was absolutely mint I had no problems with anything for the time I owned it...

Hi, I posted the other day with questions about fitting wheel spacers. Freddinamic you recommened that I fit just 5mm up front which I probably will do anyway... Although ive been wondering about fitting 10mm up front and 5mm at the back. Does this sound to much?
How could I expect it to...
All my pedals are at different heights the clutch sits the highest then the brake pedal etc I dont think there is a problem mate thinks its normal
Rob.
I know the cupped 182 has a wider track than the non cupped version not sure how much by though??
Are you saying that I should only go 5mm and only go on the front? that doesnt seem alot really. The last thing I want to do Is upset the handling I just want to sweeten it up a little more so I...
Hi all I dont really no to much about fitting these really so need some advice, My 182 (non cup) is running on Eibach pro's.
What in your opinion would be a good size wheels spacer(s) to use?
Do you fit the same size front and rear or would you have the front wider than the rear or vice...
What replacements bits are they Fred? My magnex was doing this ive tied some cable ties round the mount to lower the system slightly seems ok now...
Rob.
I get alot of knocking from the exhaust where it catches on the bumper as i pull out of turnings etc and is alot worse when i have people in the car.
Ive had a pretty good look and the problem appears to be the 2 rear exhaust mounts.
The problem with these is that by the look of it they cant...
Would those uprated lower engine mounts from Ktec fix/help this problem?
Is the cause of a lot of the knocking and banging from up front because of the standard RS mounts?
Rob.
Mate, if the problem occurs why not phone the AA get them to take a look?
At least they will see it, right a report out which you can then show Renault and they should be able to do something about it... I know I would rather do that then drive it to France and have it balls up......
Rob.
Are you not with AA Renault assistance I had a similiar problem with my 182 was revving at 3k at would nt die down, I called the AA they fixed it my Air sensor on the right hand side of the inlet manifold had actually come out.............
Rob.
Hmm.... Your 1st problem sounds very similar to my latest issue with my 182. Full lock to the right only yes, but the noise mine makes if held on full lock is a repetitive knocking/clicking which is pretty loud.... Does anyone have a clue what this is or has anyone experienced this on there...
Actually ordered them from http://www.europerformance.co.ukwww.europerformance.co.uk exactly the same price, delivery etc used them before they was good last time :)
Ive had a quick looked through our member discounts, looked at carnoisseurs website but the springs seem extra expensive...
Im ready to order asap so where is the cheapest/best place to get them from,
any other places that do a good price and that i can use the club discount?
Cheers...
Kenn in the media, pics, video forum look at the post titled mk2 flame red and black 172s the flame red 172 with the cliosport number plate parked on the grass has been lowered on the pros i believe also check the gallery Telford mikes flame red 172 is also on the pros...
Rob.
Cheers wide it would get very costly with shocks aswell I know but part of me feels im only doing half the job... What i want is to just sweeten up what is already there and the Eibach pros sound perfect for this my 182 does not have to cup supension.
Rob.
Would you say that it is essential to fit after market shocks with the pros?
Or does just adding the springs alone improve the handling enough to not need them?
Rob.
