i think as much as you should give way to a bus, i don't think the bus driver should pull out in front of you and risk causing an accident if you don't.
i noticed there is a clicking coming from the pas pump area, pretty much at the same time as the knocking i get from the rack. sounds like a relay clicking.

overrun is the pops and bangs map. makes your exhaust pop and bang when you lift off i think, over 4500rpm. think rally car. have a search on youtube for pop and bang.
comes with a little bottle as well so you can foam the car. its not super great at foaming, but you can buy attachments for it that give you the proper foaming effect.
i have very slight play in my not very old solid top mounts. we're talking half a mm if that. the play is between the spherical bearing and the mount itself. it this normal or should they be absolutely solid?

you can't upload the pop&bang map with it, but other maps are fine. best mod i made, even with the unrelated(?) running problem.
he meant to get the filter off not the plug! smash the screwdriver through the filter et voila, a handle.

one thing i haven't tried is checking for play (hands at 9 and 3) with the engine running, i only ever check with the engine off. this might show something up.

i think it happened on the back of a gearbox change but it was a while ago now.

don't miss the lower engine mount (the one under the gearbox) there's a hole close to the nearside front subframe mount that's got a 16mm nut in it.
also, something i do, is strap the nearside shock tight to the body, this stops the driveshaft popping out when you remove the ball joint bolts...
